Neat dune buggy. Bruce Meyers was a guy who started the dune buggy craze. His buggy was called the Meyers Manx. Looks like a great restoration. Thank you for showing it to the audience.
I grew up going to the Casa Bonita in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is closed too. It was so much fun! It was like being in a Mexican village and this guy would go around and play his guitar and sing. I always got the Deluxe platter ( which was an all you can eat meal) and fruit punch. I loved raising the flag to get a refill on something. I plan to make the 12 hour drive to this one in Denver if it ever gets open!
The dune buggy looked like fun and I know it brought a smile to anyone who saw it going down the road. The Casa Bonita we used to have in Oklahoma had great food and I loved the sopapillas!
I lived in Colorsdo Springs, CO and would go to Denver periodically. I love photographing there. Very run city! Awesome that you made it there! Keep on being you! ☀️❤️

That hot dog stand is the most Chicago thing ever! It's not just the hot dogs but the whole package. RC, Green River, Jay's, the basket's for the food, the decor, and the pizza puff! It is a combination of every hot dog stand I have ever been to in my 30 years living in and around Chicago, especially the 80' and 90's. You truly found a unique place.
Dune Buggies are just the coolest things!! Love seeing them at car shows/four wheeling events. I’ll see lots of them cruising throughout the Redwoods and California coast. Especially up North! 👌 VW Vans and Bugs everywhere!
Gillman is awesome, what's even more awesome is the entire stretch of road from Minturn to Tennessee Pass, I truly wish Adam had gone all the way up to the top of the pass.
@@RC_Colorado would of been great if he had kept going and ended up in Leadville. Or he could of left Glenwood springs and gone to Aspen then over Independence pass past the Roaring forks (the confluence of 3 rivers), then dropped down into Leadville. A lot more interesting than the I70 corridor. He's such a fun guy regardless.
Love the Dune Buggy, I live close to Red Rocks so I know the areas you traveled, cannot wait to see what Trey & Matt do with Casa Bonita, that episode still makes me crack up! Was so thrilled when I read they had bought that beautiful landmark. When I was downtown years ago I was almost run over by a light rail, they move so quietly I remember standing on the sidewalk as it went by me & could feel the heat on my eyelashes!!
Great video. My late husband and I had a Dune Buggy, like that. Ours had a pancake motor with dual carbs. It also had a VW bus transaxle so it was geared lower.

It's amazing how you can be having an okay day and then someone with a bad attitude ruins it. Something like your tripod moment happened to me at the Kimball Art Museum in Fort Worth. I still won't go back to this day and "the incident" happened 20 years ago. It wasn't that they had rules that needed to be followed it was how it was handled. I wish people realized how their actions really do effect others.

As a kid, Casa Bonita, Crystal’s Pizza, Showbiz Pizza and Elitch Gardens were what made my childhood magical. As a teenager, I’d visit Paris on the Platte to smoke cloves and go to Fiddler’s Green and Red Rocks for concerts.

Red Rocks is phenomenal. I went to see Stevie Nicks in May and it was the best show ever. Magical venue!

Adam that was such an awesome tour of Denver words can’t explain I mean every bit of this tour was like heaven on earth and what was so great was the fact that I got to explore so much of Denver through you and boy do I love to explore also it was quite an honor to see you having the time of your life riding around in the dune buggy and the whole time you were riding in the dune buggy I kept saying you go Adam also your Vacation filming location video which I’ve seen so so many times is my favorite and you did a brilliant job making it and come to think of it I’m going to watch it again tomorrow while I work out thanks for another great day and for all that you do now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you also please be safe out there peace ☮️ out ✌️
