@@emmagrundy17 Nah, they're all on 90 minute tapes. Need transferring to PC and then editing down. Kind of a shame, the music on Virgin was pretty good back then.
@@Stottay just wish he was half as funny now as he was back then. don't know if you have ever listened to his recent shows but its very toned down. he seems to have gone for the whole let's still use sound affects but not let the callers have as much free reign over what they want to talk about. sort of like let's now do topics and try do it in an entertaining way. its not bad to some extent and some of the old abbot does sometimes come out depending on what a caller wants to say but its very different. but maybe that's partly age,radio regulations now being somewhat different i don't know. as for virgin. yeah the music was pretty good. some of the old abbot shows on that fan site which were from virgin i used to make a note of some of the album tracks and see if i could find them on youtube to hear them in full and i was impressed. bit too young to hear virgin in 93 and 94 lol. but sadly the station gradually seemed to go the same as all the rest. more and more mainstream.

These days Nick ABBOT is like a stuck record going on about Trump, Farage Brexit and Boris, he's recently fallen in love with kackling Kamara and two tier Kier while dumping Jezza along the way.
