I see it too but it's also sad Cole is her comfort blanket of sorts because of how Adam treated her, I think she is kinda afraid of being around him.. which is sad 😢

Coles been more of a dad to Aubree in about a year, year and a half than Adam has her whole life! Chelsea and Cole are fabulous parents!

I live how honest Chelsea is with her daughter. In the car when she told her flat out that “Paysley and Taylor aren’t coming”.
She only told her that Taylor wasn't coming. She didn't know if Paisley was going to be there or not.
And by the way, Aubree was in like preschool/kindergarten in this video, so still very little, and being flat out honest with children that age could even harm them.
They are more sensitive than we are and can't understand things like we do.

@@Lee935 No, not like that either, but you can't tell them more than they can understand or handle. Like for example, if I had just broken up with my wife because she had cheated on me, I wouldn't tell my 3-year-old son (I don't have a son, this is just an example) something like "Look, Honey, Mama and I broke up because she had sex with another person and broke my heart" or something like that. He wouldn't be able to understand what sex is, and making him view his other mom in a negative way would just be wrong of me.
In some cases, when things are too big even for you to handle (not like a "Paislee and Taylor aren't coming to your concert", but in more serious situations, like a divorce or the illness or death of a close family member), you do have to soften things up for young kids to be able to handle them. Little children are also quick to blame themselves in some situations, and those thoughts could heavily damage them, so as parents or older siblings, we need to try our best to prevent that from happening.
@@LucyQ-ew6zp well obviously anyone would soften up a message being delivered to children. No one’s denying that…🥴. But my original comment wasn’t about the way you deliver different messages to children. I was talking about this specific delivery that Chelsea gave to her daughter in the car. No other messages. Your example was too extreme given that my comment was referring to one conversation in one scene. Not every scenario of speaking to children.

I’m rewatching the series and it’s crazy how he thinks he’s so amazing and dad of the year. But yet every scene in season 7 is him on his phone while Aubree tries to get his attention.
Aubree was more excited about Cole being there than anyone else. So happy she has Cole for a father figure in her life.

Now they have two kids together and he treats Chelsea like a queen and Aubree like a princess. Chelsea deserves a man like Cole. Cole is a great guy and an amazing guy.
