I have a large collection as well. My favorite one is the 1986 Astronaut. I bought it when my son was born and kept it in the box (spaceship). I never opened it and the box is in brand new condition. It is also numbered. It was created because they put a Cabbage patch doll into space that year! You probably already knew that, LOL, but I thought I'd share the story in case others reading this didn't know. Remember the Fur skins? I have 2. Super cute collection! I'm glad I'm not the only one that still has love for the 80's crazed dolls that were fought over the 1st year they came out! 😊
I got a cabbage patch kid which is AA she was made back in 1985 and she is so amazing she has a head model 4 and she is also a circus clown and she also have two teeth showing out and she is one foot and eighteen feet tall!💖💖💖💖

I love cabbage patch kids and how it happened was my daughter died in a car accident in 2017 on April 7th. I was going through her things and found 3 of her cabbage patch kids. I fell completely in love with them and started buying more, where ever I could find them and I only wanted the vintage ones although until now I did not know about head mold numbers although I do know what I thought was cute and what I thought was not quite so cute although they are all charming in thier own way. I started thrifting them after that I went to Ebay and they are starting to get rediculous more expensive than the new baby land hospital 20 inch babies witch I want to buy a couple 3 of those because they are so cute but as I said they are 69.00 and that's a bit too expensive for my budget right now lol. But yes I love them it's like getting close to my only child and her memory, she would have been 35 this July.any way that's how come I'm obsessed ❤🙂
I am so so sorry for your loss honey. I began collecting 10 years ago after we lost a baby. I didn't start collecting full force until last year but my loss is what brought me to the cpk's initially. Your story has really touched my ❤ heart. I. So glad that the cabbies bring you some comfort and make you feel closer to your daughter ❤ . You have such a nice collection! I’m old-school, so I am definitely partial to the original Coleco kids. You have some unique ones I’ve never seen like the All-Star and Toddler. Wow! The Show Pony in its original box is awesome! One of my kids was a world traveler from Holland. She’s super cute! 😂😂😂I started about ten years ago but it didn’t last long. I started up again in January of 2019 and the bulk of my kiddos came after that. I feel very lucky to have so many amazing kids🥰 some were gifts and many were forms of payment for helping friends sell their cabbies. I was paid in cabbage patch kids rather than money😂😂😂 Works for me!! 😂😂 And I purchased the rest🥰 They have given me so much happiness and I’ve met so many great people since I began collecting them. I feel blessed in so many ways♥️ This is the best hobby in the world🥰

The thing i find upsetting is when i ask people what year there cabbage stuff is that they are selling, some are ok to tell me other get but wierd like what are u a collector? Tengo la unica Cabbage Patch de 25" original comprada alrededor de 1980 - 1982 (Macy's) es varón tiene la firma a mano en el trasero, viste tuxedo negro y tiene un par de gemelos de oro con original diamante (corte brillante) lo único malo es una pequeña rotura en el cuello del jacket ocasionada por mi Loro, nunca nadie la a sacado de una bolsa de plastico transparente, la cara y manos completamente limpia y zapatos nuevos originales lo mismo que la ropa interior, estuvieron en exhibición con su pareja una muñeca dama que viste stola de piel natural solo la pareja en una vitrina de lujo donde rotaban solo las dos muñecas. alguien tiene interés en comprarla ?
