2002 seemed like a great time for hip hop outside outside of the US, UK and AUS were pumping out the goods. Taskforce were definitely in their prime here, wish I was old enough to have seen them when they came here
That take on The Realness' track by Group Home is the bomb. MFTC forever. Love this shit. Voice of the Great Outdoors I still rep to this day. Classic, unbeatable UK hip hop. That Kung Fu dvd was dope, there's an amazing beat at the end of that dvd - Keith Lawerence Step by Step ft Mystro.
I went to a mudlumz event in Nottingham in 98 wen I was living down that way, I'm from Kilmarnock in Scotland but moved down south at16 till I was 23 went to a few wicked nights at Dingwalls where the bury crew n mud fam were on point, that's how a hip hop gig should be a small venue I would rather go to a gig instead of going to see a so called big US rapper or rappers in a big stadium it just ain't the same it takes away the personal feeling that makes a hip hop gig special
Circling back on this many years later... If ANYONE can find or bootleg a copy of kung-fu volume 1 please hit me up. Lost mine years ago and need this back in my life
