I have a new jon boat and I'm iffy about putting it in saltwater. Have you had any issue's

Our boat is almost exclusively used in saltwater and we haven't had any issues yet after about a year and a half. We just make sure to wash it down thoroughly and flush the motor after each use. We also cover the boat with a tarp if we're gonna go a few days without using it

Well almost anything will eat a live shrimp, but the twitching and sudden movements definitely entices the finnicky snappers. That info is good for working lures. We also got a feel for the structure underneath the dock, which could explain why we sometimes see the occasional grouper down there
