I hear that they get the people drunk for purposes of creating drama. I think also she was expecting to get there and for everyone to be all over her, and she was quite upset that it did not work that way because she was really looking forward to it.
Exactly. She’s so worried about the way she’s being treated, that she treated Bennett like crap. He was the only one that stepped up and did exactly what she wanted
And now we know why Clare is single at 39. Because she's impossible. Relax and let people move at their own pace. Just because you are desperate to find "love" and are out of patience and want to demand that everyone grovel at your feet every 3 seconds and coddle you with attention doesn't mean the guys DON'T want love. They are polite and probably nervous, especially since you are blatantly all about Dale and practically rubbing it in everyone's face. It's only week 2.... not everyone is desperate and wanting to dive into the unknown with someone who is still largely unknown to them. If you try to force these things they will NEVER turn out well. Take a chill pill, hotpants. Take 2 actually.
She’s the kind of person that needs reassurance. No matter how much she says she is confident and knows what she wants, she not. She expects everybody to drool over her when that’s not how it works.
@Love you can’t just fall in love when you meet someone, it takes time. You have to get to know each other and spend time together. That scene was when she made a big deal out of the men not jumping after here. Maybe some of the men weren’t falling in love and that’s okay. Maybe it was just a big misunderstanding, they were probably waiting for Clare to say something else.
@Love stop trying to find a man to fix your problems and insecurities and the empty void within you and your life. Itll never work. Theres your answer.
@Love I would say understand that no one is entitled to or is guaranteed love, marriage or a dating relationship. I would also say take a different approach. Try being selfless in finding out the other persons needs and wants and try to deliver on that. If that person is decent they would reciprocate. If they don’t reciprocate I would suggest you move on. You admit that you are insecure and entitled and that is a very good thing that you have an understanding of yourself and not in denial. As a guy I would rather be with a woman who knows her strengths and can admit to her weaknesses because that means she can grow in those weak areas. You have to find a guy that you can trust to be vulnerable in saying you have insecurities and sometimes entitled so they aren’t blindsided. A person who doesn’t see their weaknesses can be toxic you seem to have some self-awareness about yourself. From what I’ve seen of Claire I could not see her having any self-awareness.
@Love I understand you. I think you're saying you deserve love and seeing others validates that belief when others who aren't as loving or kind get to have others love them. I felt that scene too. That moment feels a type of way when rejection has been a theme and moments like that reinforce that theme and we're easier to pick up on it. I too want to be loved and desired, but the most important thing is to show love and boundaries and have healthy boundaries with yourself and others. Therapy is also a good thing for that. God bless and may love find you.

They never said that they wanted to hang out together. Bennet who seemed to have stayed behind by himself said they like hanging out together. Which I think think she misinterpreted that. I guess that she was just upset because all the other bachelorettes were stolen left and right and here she was sitting waiting to be whisked away. I bet that she expected Dale to steal her first. I really think that the guys were feeling out of sorts which is understandable for the time we are living in because of this pandemic and having to be in quarantine.
I'm confused why she sent that one guy home randomly, because he didn't know her from watching her like the other guys did, I think he was really nervous and shy and I feel bad for him, I know she knows what she wants but I feel like she bashed him and said he had no substance, also never gave him a chance
Unpopular opinion: I actually don’t see anything wrong in her sending him home. He said that he had to be there knowing that she was the bachelorette but couldn’t find anything he liked about her? That’s kinda weird
she was right to send him home. What he said seemed like a line to me, and she probably picked up on that. I mean she's 39. She's probably been through lots of guys like that. He said he was super happy it was her and then he couldn't name one thing he liked about her. He either was really shallow or was just saying what he thought she would want to hear. Neither of which are good.
I disagree. It would be different if he owned up to not knowing much about her but said he wanted to get to know her more. Instead, he said when he found out she was the bachelorette, he "just knew he had to sign up", which made him come off as disingenuine after she found out he really knew nothing about her. I'm sure he's not a bad guy, but Claire is allowed to send guys home if she feels like other men are making stronger connections with her.
Marietou Sangare I agree! Not a bad guy, but when she’s already got so many men to choose from that set the bar a little higher, I would’ve sent him home too.
I think they all wanted to be polite and not interrupt each other cuz it always causes drama. She is getting upset and it’s valid but i think she needs to consider how the guys feel during that time too. They obviously want to be with but this group maybe not be good at showing it.
Eughhh....she's so insecure and entitled at the same time. It's the first group date and they were obviously nervous and she comes off scary and unapproachable.
You know, there is a fine line of “stepping up to the plate” and “coming on too strong”. She was just upset that the one guy she had the obvious “hots” for the most didn’t step up to the plate first. I would have walked out after the words “
the dude who said: you're crazy to think we're not here for you... why did he have to usr the word crazy, that would rub me the wrong way. like its the second week or so and she's already the crazy one lol
I mean it IS kind of awkward... but this is too much drama for questioning why u guys were just hanging around but not all over me.....She is 39 but sounds like a early 20s woman, kind of immature...
I definitely think it was just a case of the guys not knowing it was their cue to ask for one-on-one time with her. I think Claire misinterpreted things and shouldn't have taken it as personally, but I still like watching her and think she has an honest heart!
I agree....they looked awkward and unsure what they were supposed to do. Reminds me of the little boys at the dance standing against the wall afraid to approach a girl. She has to also remember that these just came out of quarantine and trying to get back into some kind of normal and probably out of practice.
I would wonder what was going on too. All these seasons and I have never seen the guys (or the girls) sit there like they had no idea what was going on not trying to spend time with the Bachelor/Bachelorette. Not saying she handled it right, but good grief what a group of deadheads!
She’s lowkey entitled and another thing once this next episode comes out I’m guessing it will be the last time we see Claire and then tayshia will come it’s either that or the next episode after that
@@Natori0131 same! Idk how they'll do it but I'm assuming she'll get the guys that Clare left. No way they'll put a whole other group of guys through quarantine.
Imagine liking a guy and you’re talking to him, midway conversation he stops you to ask about other girls in the house. smh! I feel so bad for Bennett.
They didn’t stand up cuz they all know she’s not the real bachelorette, she just wants clout, she’s delaying Tayshia’s journey and we have to wait twice as long for Matt James
I think Dale was trying to be respectful to the other guys by giving them a chance to talk to her first since he got the first impression rose and has the strongest connection already. It’s a much better look than being that one eager suitor who’s always desperate to talk to the lead first.
It was very awkward. She needs someone who's very strong, someone who won't be intimidated by her, or, someone who lets her take the lead. I would feel weird if no one asked me to go talk and I had to ask them, but I guess she's the lead and they wanted to be respectful and allow her to take the lead? I don't know.
True. A clearly strong woman who needs a self assured man. When Dale spoke, he didn't project anything on her. He reflected on his own behaviour in a group then, in essence said I was wrong, let's move on from this. I can see why she's into him.
Clare only sees Dale and no one else, so of course everyone is going to be checked out. Men could be just as intuitive as women are, and I'm sure they can tell that her mind is somewhere else. Plus, this show is happening in the middle of the pandemic. Everyone in the room is just happy to see other people. She really needs to be more rationale.
Yosef is right. Clare just does not realise that the men are there for her AND that she is there for them too. She is the lead and has the responsibility to make them comfortable to approach her. Fast forward look how Tysha handled the men. How she listened and respected them. She was there for the men and they for her.
i can't wait for clare's part to be over lmao. that was so uncalled for, they were just being polite and making sure they didn't step on someone's toes or something. how many times is she gonna say "i'm a woman." Anyway, where is tayshia?
Clare just missed the opportunity to talk to a potential partner. The guy who chose her first to go talk had good intentions. instead of focusing on him, she’s focused on the other “guys” not getting up for her? Is she truly here for love?
Im pretty indifferent to Dale but the little Office moment he had when he looked into the camera after Yosef said “youre crazy” was mad funny to me @ 4:15
Very happy that she is ending this season soon because it is too much for me to watch the entire season acting the way she is. Good luck to the guy she end up with!!!
And there goes a man (Dale),"i am sorry you feel that way, but I am not going to let you stress more, let me rescue the guys and do the right thing, take her away from stress" this is all about confidently falling in love. I pray they end up together, to eternity.
Why do I feel like all the first group dates are awkward and usually edited out but they left it bc Clare called it out. Love her skipping everyone and going to Dale tho- its so funny
I think they were just nervous and confused as to what she wanted. Usually the guys are fighting like crazy for time and it’s just nice to sit for a second and speak to everyone about how the date went. I don’t think they meant it the way she took it. I did feel bad for her and I’m sure it was awkward and weird but she was really rude about it. Idk I don’t like her vibes at all.
It seems like the expectation that the guys step up like that was a case of miscommunication/ misinterpretation. Watching that unfold, I was completely taken aback as it didn't seem like the guys were expecting to take the lead. I think they were waiting on their cue from her. IDK why she didn't just lightheartedly say something along the lines of, "okay so who wants to come chat with me first?" She could've and should've been a bit more playful with it and given them the opportunity to take the bait. Whereas they were just sitting around casually and then out of the blue expected to clamour after her. Totally case of mixed cues. I will say this though... I think it was also the case of her wanting the one and only Dale to be vying for her and also of her wanting Dale to see that the other men were interested in her as well. As a woman, I think it's nice to have men kind of chasing after you. Yes, it's an ego boost but I can't deny that it feels good and I think it also ups the ante and makes the guy that gets you in the end feel like he won the prize. It's all very primitive in many ways, LOL! Also her being older, I think that even if she isn't flat out saying it, there is a certain level of insecurity that comes along with that. It's not the norm that younger guys are going to be super interested in an older woman and especially an older woman who is nearing 40 and that's not always for superficial reasons but for things like starting a family etc. While it's perfectly possible for women to have children in their 40s, it also means that if you get with a woman in that age range, you kind of have to get on the baby making right away if that's the goal.

Juan Pablo was an @ss!
@@mistyrain68ify But I can see why Juan Pablo chose Nikki over Clare because she's childish
Taiyasia comes soon
She is so insecure! And she only has eyes for one guy... This is so bad!
Lol so she just left Bennett there and went off with dale? Poor bennett is probs wondering where she is!!
Came back to watch Yosef's reaction. You can tell this is where he starts being anti-Clare. Lmao!!!!!
Why is it so awkward
Same 😬
Because she's 39 and domineering.
All the guys can see her pursuing Dale
Wow Rude, just left Bennett, how self-centered
@@saraasmr5200 I don’t think he’s a bad guy either I just thought that it was kinda weird
Poor bennet
Honestly, he can do better.
You know, there is a fine line of “stepping up to the plate” and “coming on too strong”. She was just upset that the one guy she had the obvious “hots” for the most didn’t step up to the plate first. I would have walked out after the words “
I would have walked out after her whole “taken aback” speech
Agreed
the dude who said: you're crazy to think we're not here for you... why did he have to usr the word crazy, that would rub me the wrong way. like its the second week or so and she's already the crazy one lol
Nobody likes her.
I agree with the terminology, but she was acting a bit crazy. Who gets that upset because they are not getting attention?
I mean it IS kind of awkward... but this is too much drama for questioning why u guys were just hanging around but not all over me.....She is 39 but sounds like a early 20s woman, kind of immature...
Yeah she's very immature.
There is a sense of insecurity on Clare’s thought process with what happened here
This season is CRINGE....I’m ready for queen Tayshia to save the season. 💕
Me too!!!
Nah, all these guys dodged a bullet.
@@Trish0871 god forbid women act on equality and actually initiate.
“Omg guys because I’m bachelorette, that means you guys MUST come to me. You must throw yourselves at me and make me feel like a true bachelorette”
She’s lowkey entitled and another thing once this next episode comes out I’m guessing it will be the last time we see Claire and then tayshia will come it’s either that or the next episode after that
That’s all I’m tryna see!
@@tamrahandy7992 Yass if we’re gonna be honest the only I was excited to watch this season was cause of tayshia
@@Natori0131 same! Idk how they'll do it but I'm assuming she'll get the guys that Clare left. No way they'll put a whole other group of guys through quarantine.
@@tamrahandy7992 I didn’t even think about it like that your so right
Imagine liking a guy and you’re talking to him, midway conversation he stops you to ask about other girls in the house. smh! I feel so bad for Bennett.
They didn’t stand up cuz they all know she’s not the real bachelorette, she just wants clout, she’s delaying Tayshia’s journey and we have to wait twice as long for Matt James
Looool I can’t
😂😂
Aww that's mean
Yosef face is like “yeah she is already a lot to handle” ! He knows what wife he wants and it’s not her at all
I think Dale was trying to be respectful to the other guys by giving them a chance to talk to her first since he got the first impression rose and has the strongest connection already. It’s a much better look than being that one eager suitor who’s always desperate to talk to the lead first.
She’s exhausting 🤣
*4:26** "Id love to go Stt- and Uh.. argue about it later.. ok?"* 🤣 😆 🤦♂️
Jeez, they were nervous. They were being polite and letting you talk.
Thank goodness for Tayshia. What a season!
She needs more therapy, alone.
I don't know. Two alpha dogs in a relationship seem tough...
At the end of the day , looks like Juan Pablo saw the real Clare and was smart in not picking her 😬😬😬!
She’s so entitled, those guys need to run.
Is she a teacher are they students.. this is kinda nuts
I know right she just seems like a thirsty teacher and the roses being gold stars for how well they did
@@priscillaarellano562 hahah
Yousef sitting there like “I see through this BS, imma grill her on TV”
Clare only sees Dale and no one else, so of course everyone is going to be checked out. Men could be just as intuitive as women are, and I'm sure they can tell that her mind is somewhere else. Plus, this show is happening in the middle of the pandemic. Everyone in the room is just happy to see other people. She really needs to be more rationale.
It's so obvious that her low self esteem was screaming for affirmation. Omg they didn't all jump out at once to talk to me! They must not like me!
Hahah as soon as he dropped the "crazy" word it all went down hill from there 😂😂
Poor Bennett! Where did he go? Did she ever come back?
Legend says Bennett is still sitting there
Yosef is right. Clare just does not realise that the men are there for her AND that she is there for them too. She is the lead and has the responsibility to make them comfortable to approach her.
Fast forward look how Tysha handled the men. How she listened and respected them. She was there for the men and they for her.
What’s up with the guy arguing over everything Yousef said???
The guy called her crazy and Dale was pissed lol
Claire needs a chill 💊 pill
i can't wait for clare's part to be over lmao. that was so uncalled for, they were just being polite and making sure they didn't step on someone's toes or something. how many times is she gonna say "i'm a woman." Anyway, where is tayshia?
"strong woman" so so so many times.
“Perception is like painting a scenery - no matter how beautifully you paint, it will still be a painting of the scenery, not the scenery itself.”
No guy is going to want to approach her after she’s done this Hahahah it’s just scary
Aww Bennett seems like a great guy. Felt bad for him
Who’s watching in between wheel commercials waiting for episode 2 to start? 😂😂😂😇🥰
Maybe they were tired of chasing her, when she only allows Dale to catch her.
Is the silence edited in? Please someone say yes
You could tell they took out the audio for some parts but it was probably still pretty awkward live.
Ego hit her so hard and she couldnt handle it so well 🤣
Yosef just a crowd guy!!! he shouldn't be on this show at all.
Drinking game: Take a shot every time he mentions his daughter or that he is a father.
She and Dale are both stoned out of their minds 😂
I am having a blast and to think I wasn't going to watch this season am so glad I did it just began but I love it
Dale’s speech: like, like, like... like like
And there goes a man (Dale),"i am sorry you feel that way, but I am not going to let you stress more, let me rescue the guys and do the right thing, take her away from stress" this is all about confidently falling in love. I pray they end up together, to eternity.
It seems like they were not that interested with her unlike with Taysha they really stepped up.for her.
1:27 she's not listening to w a word he's saying.
this woman probably makes a living out of drama
She's the one that made it awkward not the guys. Jeez... I'm ready for her to be off the show as soon as possible.
They were just trying to be polite. Clare is a drama Queen LOL
Clare you said you are 39 because you didn’t settle a man like that , so good luck, the way you act, you can stay along when you are 90.
They all seem really nervous apart from Yosef who's just sitting back chilling haha
