Scion is a brand of vehicles produced by Toyota Motor Corporation for the North American market. Founded in 2002, Scion was introduced at the New York Auto Show to appeal to Generation Y consumers. The first Scion models, the xA hatchback and xB wagon, went on sale in California in 2003, followed by a sports coupe, the tC, and a nationwide U.S. launch in 2004.
A successor to the xA, the xD, premiered in 2008, and the Scion marque expanded to Canada in 2010. Scion currently has five models: the tC, xB, iQ, xD, and the FR-S. The Scion name, meaning the descendant of a family or heir, refers both to the brand's cars and their owners.

I wish Scion would invite me to track a loaner car. I own an FR-S but my parents absolutely deny that I race it on a road course and I want to do that more than anything. I'd give them a show they wouldn't soon forget.

kyull sounds like you need to ask Mitsubishi Nissan AND Toyota about voided warranties across the US for lancer, gtr, and FRS denied warranty work.

no one voids a warranty because of a track day. If you mess up, however, I hope you have track insurance if you're that scared.

Toyota owns scion. So its not a copy they just rebadged it.
Would be more interesting if you were to have them teach actual FR-S owners as opposed to what appears to the untrained eye to be a bunch of hobos.

wth are you talking about? first off, it's called a FR-S not FR-Z. Second off, I bought mine for $26,000 out the door. I have no idea where you got $35,000 from. And faster does not always mean more fun. FRS will out handle all of those cars you mentioned on a tight track and be cheaper to maintain.

LOL the TC is a great car for around $20,000 , but the FR-Z is not a great car for $35,000. For $35,000 il take a Lexus IS 250, Nissan 370Z, HELL,a new corvette is only $5000 more.
What the frack? Have you actually driven one? The TC is a boring FWD Toyota like econo car. The FR-S is a fun, RWD that has gotten tons of acclaim.
Both can't even be compared.

Scion is rebadged Toyota, I dont even know why they are rebadging them. Maybe to make the buyers think they are buying something American? BTW, RX8 and S2000 are simply better cars. Check the camparison on YT.
Once again, Scion simply making an exact copy of a Japanese car.
I would take it with a real badge - either Subaru or Toyota - they did make it together.

Here we have a non car guy, hating on choice of transmission. If you compare two stock cars, auto and manual, the auto will win every time. Also don't get me wrong, I love both manual and automatic.
