@@ArnarionArt Exactly. I like to think he and all the people Sauron ever tricked (and that's a BIG number) would all gang up to bring the Dark Lord to justice while the main force is fighting Morgoth.

I would say Talion finally just got tired of respawning, but that's not true... he respawned so many times he lived long enough to see himself become the Villain... Talion is a Gamer at Heart ❤ and he gave it his all, with his pain and loss as fuel he fought against impossible odds and it paid off GG! LITERALLY, GOOD GAME TALION, GG, GREAT GAME! This is easily the best Lord of the Rings game we'll ever get other than LoTR: Conquest, and LoTR: War in The North (:"()
The old school Movie games were fun on the game cube.. but obtaining our OWN ORC ARMY, to fight SAURONS Orc Army, absolutely GENIUS concept with an absolutely Beautifully written and creative Story.
I believe in my Heart and Soul Tolkien would've approved. This Ending was a Happily Sad kind of ending.. I took my time with the story so long I started in 2017 and FINALLY FINISHED it in 2022. The Shadow Wars actually DID LAST YEARS FOR ME (;)) and it made the Ending that much sweeter, it trully did! Hope we'll get to see plenty more Middle-Earth games from Monolith. They did in fact say they wanted to continue making Middle-Earth games.. and we know The Gollum Game, and Lord of The Rings Return to Moria aren't developed by Monolith so here's to hoping they're working on a badass Fellowship "What if" Trilogy! I would kill for a chance to see an Alternate Fellowship where we pick our own Race and get to play with Friends and have multiple branching story paths all generated in the Same Middle-Earth open world (;)) honestly that's the only way I see Middle-Earth games getting any more badass than this, cause I just don't know how any Middle-Earth game can follow up after this (:/)
His sons sword/his dagger was the only thing he properly paid attention to when dropping his gear.
It was the physical representation of his vendetta. His reason for fighting. His own sword was little more than a burden.
Big sword is his own, he didn't mind discarding it since he didn't need it anymore.
The smaller sword, the "dagger" is his sons broken sword remains.
It's called Acharn, which in its worlds setting means "vengeance".
I love that detail to the scene, of a split second of Tallions visible doubt of finally letting go of his rage.
And the flower he gave his wife
the flower that grew from it is a good representation of his son's spirits resting in peace

@@spyper6676 the way I see it. Talion decided that so long as he wears that ring, that's one less nazgul that he has to fight against. And even the new ring would have corrupted him, just not in the same way. You have to remember how celebrimbor said he poured his soul into that ring just like sauron did and talion did not want to go back to being celebrimbors slave
@@spyper6676 She didn't think that he would put on the ring of a nazgul. She genuinely thought she was leaving him to die and had probably thought he was being given some rest.
You want someone to hate for that decision, hate Celebrimbor. Eltariel stuck around and kept fighting, even when she could have left. Celebrimbor manipulated her and then got fused with Sauron.
She fucked up, yes. But she knows she did and stuck around to try and lessen the harm she caused.

@@sammyblevins6046 frodo isnt responsible for holding back saurons armies for decades while wearing a corrupted ring going uncorrupted for so long, he denied his final peace to protect his home and was a ringwraith for many years, he is by far better than frodo, frodos still great though

I remember being so hype about this telling my brothers how it looked lik an AC game but with so much more gore…i didnt know there was gonna be a roller coaster of emotions following an incredible story… amen to this game.

After playing this game, I came to tears on howuch he suffered for dying,being resurrected against his own will because of an elf and had to fight for years. Even my brother shed a tear, and he wasn't faking it this time 😢 😭 he is has the most honor of a warrior I have ever seen since the dark knight bluford

I just want to say this series is one of my favorite games ever. So much heart I love Talion. The story telling was perfect, well done to all who work on this.

This much lore and story for one of the Nazgul makes me wonder what their stories are as well.

When I finished the game and this started, the music and the whole video, I stood there in awe, like I truly lived the scene, rather than just being a game. I've played it back to back and it was... awesome! There are just a few games where it has affected me so much, but the ending here was just brilliant! After that I felt empty for a few days, like I have lost something.
I was never able to pick up the games and start them from the beginning, I feel like I've completed them permanently. It's a very strange feeling.
I maybe late to the game as i literally just completed the epilogue where i have to freak defend the sieges. It is really a blood bath in the battlefield. Lots of my own orcs bleeding and i have to heal them up. Not to mention the invading orcs which is many.
I'm truly touched by the ending (obviously as i have watched the trilogy of LoTR). But this is another angle that i never expect to see.
IMO, the ending should have included a silhouette of Talion's wife & son awaiting and finally joining them in the after life

I have this head canon where Talion manages to go "rogue nazgul" again once he faces Aragorn, the true king of Gondor and heir of Isildur, at weathertop and helps the fellowship from time to time. Emerging from the shadows to offer guidance, perspective on the enemy, and even help fight during pivotal battles such as Amon hen, Helms deep, and Pelennor fields.
Till the very end where he faces Sauron one final time, holding the Dark lord at bay finally knowing that this time it won't be for nothing. No more stalemates, no more struggling against an inevitable fate. He unleashes all his vengeance and rage knowing that the most unlikely of heroes will free him and help save his people. Making all the pain and suffering worth something in the end.

It’s probably nice after dying and having to just go right back to fighting over and over again for decades to finally die for good and be at peace knowing your fight wasn’t for nothing and possibly getting to be with your wife and son again.

If you noticed in shadow of war one of the places is Cirith Ungol and in one of the lotr movies sam saves frodo from being stabed.
