I use an iPad 12.9 M2 and a Mac Mini M1. When I am traveling, I use the iPad. On both the iPad and Mac Mini M1, I use LumaFusion to edit my videos. (This video was edited and color graded in LumaFusion). LumaFusion does not run on Windows. It is very robust and easy to use. It costs $30 one-time fee. For about a month, I have been playing around with CapCut to edit videos. It is free and just as good (maybe better) than LumaFusion. It runs on Macs, Windows, Linux, or from a web interface. I have it installed on my iPad and Mac Mini M1. I might add that DaVinci Resolve is a very powerful free video editor but has a larger learning curve. It runs on Windows, Macs, and Linux.
Thanks Roy..I’m using an iPad running LightCut which seems to do the job so far. My aging laptop is so slow it takes forever to download videos so gave up, but thanks for the info. Take care out there👍😊
