I think a lot of us (myself included) failed to consider that the team’s we call “tier 2” aren’t in a lot of the events that we use to judge the overall performance of the so-called favorites. I think there are people who recognized variables such as the upsets at the rmr and made better decisions. We shouldn't discredit them to make ourselves feel better about our choices.
