This is an amazing product!!! Worth every penny!!!
It have a build in amp 3W per channel! The connections are between the 2 encoders + the headphones out!
It works from 3.2V to 5V so either a lipo battery or a USB power source would be fine.
The reception is exceptional! I have a router antenna hooked up to mine and where other radios stop, it keeps playing!
I have it boxed and I might upload a demo video.
Battery wise, it gives a full 6 hour playing from a 3,7V 180mA lipo battery, utilizing the on board amp!
Oh! And it IS stereo!!!

Thanks for the video. Good job on describing the functions as I could not find any manual on this FM Receiver. Two questions: When you long press the frequency knob it scrolls "SN ON" or "SN OFF" across the screen. What is SN? Also can you wire a AUX(3.5mm) jack to this board? If so, how will it switch between sources?
When switched to SN ON, the radio does not produce any hissing noise when there is no transmission. SN stands for 'squelch', which is used to suppress the background noise when there is no signal. I don't understand the 2nd question. 😞
Damn! I was hoping this module had an auto station seek so that once it found all the stations a simple left or right twist to the tuner knob would increment up or down to the next station, if only the Fm module I ordered "which BTW does via touching either the + or - buttons for both volume and station selection had a display like this one, that would be perfect for the Public Address Receiver I am building..

Hello, on these modules there are writings on the component side, enc-v1. 3 or V1. 9, or enc-v2.0. Someone explains to me what differences there are between v1. 9 and v2. 0 v1. 3. What does these numbers mean? Thanks so much
Hi, its a nice radio and does what it should. All functions at mine and its sensitivity is good.
Watch for the power, a modern switching power supply may not work (perhaps with some inductivities and condensators for screening; didnt try it up to now). So using an older power supply worked as good as batteries. Also giving power by a pc via usb may not work, I think there is too much high frequency interference). A pc in the near may give a lot of interferences, of course. So a simple fm antenna (what you often find at your hifi tuner) in some meters distance works better than a short cable, that lies near a pc.
One thing I dont get running: the serial interface. Did use several ways: arduino, direct connection from tx->rx and rx->tx, as usual, interface is not needed because of 5v level. Setting serial to 38400 but nothing happens, the radio doesnt react and also doesnt send informations by AT. Tried also usb to rs232 interface+rs232 to 5v converter. Works at pc, but at the dsp radio same as arduino, not any reaction. Did also cross rx->tx and tx-rx as usual (also changed for testing but of course didnt work). So how can i get the serial to work? Both ways I tried are working at serial monitor, so there is not a defect cable or chip. Sorry about my teutonic english :-)

Egy kérdésem lenne ez a rádió összeköthető-e egy erősítővel a fülhallgató kimeneten? Van egy "Bluetooth 5.0 100W+100W TPA3116 Digital Audio Power Amp HiFi Sound Dual Channel Class D Stereo Aux TF Card Amplifier Board" erősítőm. Hogyan tudnám összehozni őket. Én csak amatőr vagyok az elektronikában.
Ha van rajta RCA vagy Jack bemenet, akkor azon keresztül lehet neki beadni a füllhalgató kimenet jelét egy alkalmas készen is kapható kábellel.
@@bzoli5706 A TPA3116 blutuszos Jack bemenetén keresztül lehet hallgatni az internet rádiót. Telefonom kapcsolódik a Wifihez és az meg összekötve jack -jack vezetékkel és szól az erősítőn keresztül (hangszórók) a zene. Köszönöm a választ.
I had an earlier version of this receiver and most annoyingly the encoders work backward i.e clockwise rotation decreases frequency and volume.

Does the display of your Banggood FM radio stays always back-lighted when turned on for a long time? I'm asking you this because my display turns off moments after let it quiet, lightening on only after deal with any of the buttons, frequency or volume.

+José Pereira By setting the backlight state is off state press FRE knob key to turn the display backlight Always indicate B1, B0 denotes a backlight turned off 20 seconds after the restart to take effect. Repeat this step to change the setting to switch the state. The factory is set to backlight turns off 20 seconds without operation.
My device works as above described.

Now I'm looking for a good pair of 3 Watt 4 Ohm speakers to mount with it. Can you tell me if I can buy an USB power supply as you used at the video or it was projected and built by yourself? I'm almost a zero with electronics.

+José Pereira Presently I use the phone output with a PC multimedia speaker with built in amplifier, so the power requirement is more less than using the loud speakers connected directly to the radio.
But I think you can also use USB power supply, but from the more powerfull ones, 0.5A is not enought, try to buy a 2A type.

my Banggood radio with a 4.5 Volts battery and an Altec Lansing iMT237 self-powered speaker. It worked well.

Külföldön a Campusok (Egyetemi negyed) területén működő rádió adó. Ha a saját erősítőjéről használod 3-5 Voltos (USB) töltővel is használható. De a polaritásra ügyelj! És csak szűrt kimeneti feszültségű töltő jó! Kimeneti teljesítménye 2x500mW, de ez nem is kevés, mert a törvényben meghatározott szobahangerő 50 mW, ami ennek a tizede.

how do you program station favorites ? That tuner pot will burn out real fast
I listen only one radio station with this radio, but the tuning device is not a pot, it is a rotary encoder.
How is recieving capacity? Whether it will pick up the station which is far from 200 km? Can you please test it and confirm?
Sorry but I can't test it: 1st we have Christmas holidays now, and it is in my working place. 2nd My country is a small country so our stations are closer than 200 km and have smaller power for local broadcasting only. 3rd. I use it in a basement with a less than a meter long wire as an antenna.

You can remove the buttons after unscrewing them from they sides.
Mine does not have screws... you just pull them off

Yes, but if you use the on board power amplifier, then the standard 0.5A USB power is not enough, you must use a power bank or a 2A charger.
