Thanks for this Rob. Also when connecting from bbranch panel to main panel. Is it okay to set the branch panel to unbalance or should I set it to balance?
You always want panels and switchboards to be unbalanced, such that they pass the loads through just as they are per phase. Only loads should be set to balanced (unless it is a special load that is set to unbalanced on purpose, where you want to enter different loads per phase - not common).
