    Hello Dustin,
Thank you for the videos of the rebuild. You are very impressive sir. I bought a 216 last December. Looking forward to your new videos.

Going great so far! Really love watching the progress. I want to do the same boat some day for use on the Great Lakes. Love that bow flair. Fabulous lines. Best of luck!

Certainly impressed with your determination with this project. This reminds me of those shows with people living by themselves in Alaska and figuring out how to get stuff done by themselves. Very creative ideas. Keep it up Dustin. Just wish you would get this done and get back on the mustang slacker lol.

    Hi Dustin,
On a forum I read that when cutting out portions of the cap (when the cap is off the hull), do your best to make sure it is as close to the shape that it needs to be when on the hull. If it is twisted or bent, when you put in new core material and new fiberglass it may not want to go back to its original shape and you could have difficulty getting it to match back up with the hull. I have no personal experience with this but it seemed to make sense to me. Following your progress, looking forward to more!

Hey man looking into buying this same boat. Is there a way to put a leaning post livewell on it with plumbing blow deck?

Yes, thats my plan. There is a ton of space to the left or right of the fuel tank. Dont get me wrong, its a lot of work but definitely a possibility. The is a block of foam on both sides of the tank, so depending on which side you went to (id do the left side of the tank because there is no riging tubes on that side) it would need to be cut to fit the piping.

@@elementfishing so if I go from the port side of the boat it will go to the bilge area without having to cut into any stringers? Thanks brotha

I just read your comments, I know the answer. I have a 21.5 scorpion that I'm getting ready to do same thing to. I'll probably have some questions! Great job so far.
