It is a tedious process, but with Jesus' help, strength and diligent work ethic im slowly starting to see changes like...monthly publishing distributions. When i started watching MusicMoneyMakeover, i had done everything except Harry Fox or SongTrust. I've since weighed the options and decided i do not want the middleman getting a piece of my funds. Please make a video about Neighboring Rights , (Songtrust) They haven't been registering works since December 2022, and their contract includes a post-term clause, allowing them to collect for an additional year after cancellation. I've already canceled my account and am in the process of funding my own Pub....

I agree with everything you say, but I think you are missing out on international publishing royalties, not mechanicals. The only practical way I know to collect them is with sub publisher deals which will cost you 15% or so. It's still better than Songtrust etc. but not free.
Here's my twist. I'm in Canada, and here we're advised to use SOCAN as our MRO, but add ASCAP or BMI etc along side our Composition registrations. Same deal with reciprocals as with the US, but from the other end. As a Canadian, doing my own publishing and getting my masters distributed, would I still do all the other account setups (MLC, Harry Fox, Music Reports, Sound Exchange, and Distributor)? ie. Can Canadians register with all those other accounts?

You not going to negotiate anything with songtrust. It set and forget. If you wan to be independent you'll have to do it your self. Which is what I advertise all the time.

So what happens if years down the line you stop doing anything and the LLC is dissolved either by you or a judicial court? Wouldn't all of your copyrights get caught up in that dissolution if they all have been filed in the name of the LLC?
My concerns and Big question also, not to mention, CA Charges an ANNUAL $800 "Fee" just "Because..." whether you are a foreign LLC or Domestic LLC, (you've got to pay it ANYWAY), whether you making money or not! I'll wait for an answer...

No, The MLC is. HFA will collect form Lyric FInd and MusixMatch plus take care of your foreign streaming mechanicals that get collected by other foreign agencies.

Absolutely. Chances are your structure may be off a bit and you need to shape things. Which is the case most of the time for existing labels.
