      Very handy video, thanks. However, when I print a sheet set to pdf, it only prints certain pages in the set, while leaving others blank...any ideas on this?

    Finally a video with clear explanations and tutorial I can understand. Can't wait to start using this. The sheet set manager setup process has intimidated me so much I've been fearful of messing up my existing drawings or new ones.
    Thanks for the tutorial.

    Nice video like always , just one question if We have layouts created and linked to sheet set and we lost the dst file how to import it into new sheetset with out refilling all the layouts titles and numbers etc , is there way to do this

    • @Cadintentions
      @Cadintentions  Год назад

      Hey FirE,
      That is a great question, I don't actually know if there is a way to say recover a missing dst just from the drawings. It might need to be recreated, though depending how many drawings it shouldn't take too long if you pre fill any of the common fields when creating the sheetset. Not an ideal solution but I'll look into a bit more as well and see if there are any other options!

    I want all sheets from one CAD file to be printed as a single PDF. I have like 26 CAD files and need to print everything but each CAD should print as one PDF. Can we do that?

    Hi do I create a different sheet set for every single drawing? or can I use one as a template? Thanks!

    • @Cadintentions
      @Cadintentions  2 года назад

      You can definitely use one that you've created already as a template, that is the easiest and most efficient. I would create one from a template for each project you have, you won't need one for each drawing since multiple drawings from the same project can go into one sheet set.
      Hope that helps! Thanks for watching and the comment
      Cheers!

    Is possible for multiple viewport in 1 layout ?

    • @Cadintentions
      @Cadintentions  4 года назад

      Yep for sure, you can add as many viewports as you'd like to a layout. They can be different sizes and scales even.
      I have a video on creating multiple viewports here: ruclips.net/video/Y6NiPZk56Kk/видео.html

    Hi, thank you for the video. I have a question. In our company we shall store all drawings related to the project in a one .dwg file. This is policy and philosophy of the boss, can't deal with it. How can I use sheet set if I have just one file instead of "1st floor.dwg" "2nd Floor.dwg" and so on? Thank you

      Hmmm, I took a quick look at your image, I don't think the sheet set manager will help with the way you're setting up your drawings. I would definitely recommend not having all of your sheets on a single layout like that. Just so many ways they can get messed up and also issues when updating drawings, notes etc.. plus it looks like it would be a pretty large file and likely quite a bit slower than separating them out. But on the other side, I do understand having and using a system that works for you and that your boss likes. My suggestion if you'd like to keep all the drawings in a single file, would be to create a new layout tab for each sheet/drawing you have in that single layout. It would be pretty quick, simply copying the layout and setting each one to an individual drawing. that way you can use the sheet set method, or even quicker the batchplot method to print all of your drawings at the same time.
      Hopefully that helps/answers your question, thanks again for the reply and good luck!
      Cheers
      Brandon
