Is the black can a different brand? Cheaper brands tend to have less paint and more pigment. You could be adding a little too much paint underneath and that causes you to have it bleed through. Don't spray the black too close, you will be spraying more than needed. The thing I find that helps the most if paint bleeds through, is let a painting dry a little bit. Then there isn't as much paint that will bleed through.
very kewl & informative. But kinda afraid 2 try it, won't b half as good as yours. Also, shouldn't u take ur ring off when you're working with that kind of stuff?
thanks a bunch for that. I did what you were saying and backed off a bit and didn't have that problem again. I have another question you probably get all the time. What are the best brands of paint? 'cause my bright gloss paint doesn't seem to do to well over the top of the black. It does pretty good but not like yall's does.
I was just wondering if someone could help me out. I've picked up the art of space painting. I have a few that have come out really well. I've been using glossy spray paint like it's been suggested for. But some time the colors in the back round attend to bleed through the black once the black settles in. I was just wondering how I could avoid that or would I need different types of spray paints. I am using the glossy side of the poster board as well.
