Mike gave the absolute best legal advice to a Landlord with damaged property that any lawyer ever could @15:37 and it only took him about 10 seconds to give it. Seriously, I've been down that road as a landlord....he is 1000% correct. Trying to recover damages from a now homeless deadbeat who couldn't even pay rent is just a huge waste of time.
Absolutely agree. We have a judgement against an evicted tenant who didn't pay rent and damaged our house. No point going any further. Only good thing is, he's in prison now for a couple of years. He'll make a nice gf for someone.

The presiding judge may have just been absolutely ensuring due process and an irrefutable record of her actions and results.

The landlord in the second case you showed is not a stranger in that courtroom (in fact, until now I always thought that she worked for the housing department or something). Why her integrity and ability is being called into question about her usage of Zoom is *beyond me.* She has always held herself out professionally and confirmed every decision with the Court.
It seemed she was being called out by the defendant. Hard to tell for sure. However, if this was the case, I am willing to bet that the defendant had seen her do such in the past.. Thank goodness I met my husband ( just celebrated 19 years together) when I was 3 months pregnant with him and he has supported him since day one! (In this case, he gets a simple Yes when he asks a Y/N question and then harshly admonishes defendant; when judges, including him, constantly castigate people who use any narrative vs answering simply Yes or No.) His illogical and temperamental conduct runs the gamut from petty tyrant to raving maniac. He's an embarrassment to the justice system.
I can't stand him either. That lady should've looked out for herself and not cursed him out but she isn't wrong in my opinion -- he has an attitude unsuited of a judge. He is rude, forgetful, and seems to enjoy bullying. And his clerk is next level rude.

I love the ex husbands face when his ex wife starts to speak. He knows she will show her true nature to the judge and the judge will feel harrassed in the end. Waiting to see if he remains quiet as she internally implodes.
Judge Bryant is such a saint and so oddly on point in her sudden appearances here :) lol made me laugh and agree with her feelings every time! The glasses lady is awful, glad she was charged and Judge didn't tolerate any of her junk. That fake sweetness after her rudeness was so yuck and so glad he responded the way he did.

I would feel really intimidated by Judge Marable. I’d feel like I was being scolded by my parents.

The landlord in the second case you showed is not a stranger in that courtroom (in fact, until now I always thought that she worked for the housing department or something). Why her integrity and ability is being called into question about her usage of Zoom is *beyond me.* She has always held herself out professionally and confirmed every decision with the Court.
It seemed she was being called out by the defendant. Hard to tell for sure. However, if this was the case, I am willing to bet that the defendant had seen her do such in the past..
Personally, I didn't notice this lady doing this until it was brought up, but it definitely looked like she was judging two things and got distracted a few times.

I caught Debbie Davis live this morning while she was feeding the sheep and goats. She seemed in good spirits and is spending time with family and the animals and getting ready for the election. She is a strong cookie!
