Hats off! A couple of weeks ago I have started to watch videos on Synapse. By now I was expecting it can be used as you put forward. The Microsoft Synapse team can learn from you.
Thank you, Mitchell. I really appreciate your videos and presentation skills. I will leave the same comment and a like under each of your Azure Synapse videos. These videos are all you need to get started with Azure Synapse! Regards from Germany, Marius
Hi there. Just want to say, I love your videos and the way you engage with and come across to your audience. You explain things so well. You spoke of Optimising Data warehousing and Materialised views. How do I learn Data Warehousing Techniques without being in a situation that allows me to do this? How do I gain the experience to do these things? or is it not worth learning how to do this because of the changing landscape? I did a degree in IT at 43. Essentially, I have always had analytical roles but predominately on the front end like Power BI and Excel. I would love to be a full stack BI Developer or a Data Engineer. Guidance Needed.
Great video sir, Waiting for the next video. I have a question. I'm new to Azure. Do I need to learn about ADF before I start with Synapse? I'm also wondering, Do I need to learn SSIS anymore?
If I am not interested in Data warehousing part, and just interested in the ETL part, should I be learning ADF or ASA? What I learn in ADF, can that be applied to the ASA ETL part? I have a subscription to Pragmatics works through my company "Feeding America"... FYI
Hats off!

Great video, just the knowledge I wish for and need.
Nice, do you have a release schedule for this?
Yes! Every Tuesday! :)
Starting out with synapse. Could anyone comment how relevant these videos are with the newest synapse version?
Great video sir,
Waiting for the next video.
I have a question.

I'm also wondering, Do I need to learn SSIS anymore?
ADF is one of the component of Azure Synapse. So, either you learn ADF separately or learn together with other components of Synapse. Hope it helps.
if the sizing of the DWH is kind of modest (
great stuff
Thank you!
Hi sir. I am new to azure. Can i directly learn synapse analytics or should i start with something else? Please reply sir

Hey Nasar, the Pipelines and Data Flows in Synapse are sufficient for doing the ETL even if you don't need the other parts in Synapse Analytics.
@@PragmaticWorks Thanks!
❤️
Can I use Synapse ETL part to move data from on prem SQL to Cloud, and on prem to on prem SQL (basically replacing SSIS).?
Yes, you will need to set up and configure a Self-Hosted Integration runtime so you can create a linked service to your on-prem environment.
@@PragmaticWorks Thanks!
