    I'm a fellow Serb and I'm trying to learn Russian, but in my language we have a rule that one sound you make, one letter you write... Now that's not a problem, I can tolerate the differences. But what bugs me is when you're saying A and writing O hahah it's just the funniest thing to me, but no problem, I'll learn to correct that as well.

    • @maria.5974
      @maria.5974 3 года назад +2

      the rule is simple- if the letter O is not stressed, it in most cases is pronounced as A. Examples: молокО (pronounced malakO), korOva (pronounced karova), столЫ (stalY), онО (anО), мОи.

    As so many others say, thank you Daria for your efforts on these videos, we are so grateful. Oh gosh. As a native-English speaker I'd always felt for those studying English because I'm sure it must be a nightmare. But now some things I appreciate! : ) I have my bed, my shirt, my fan, my car and it's "my" (vs. 1 of 3 forms!) regardless of how the object's spelling ends. NOW this video I learn in Russian when I make a word plural, the form of my (or your, our, their) may change all over again! Thanks for letting me vent; I feel better but my head was about to explode. I will have to make a table, figure this out and study hard.

    Hello Daria. Thank you so much for your great lessons. When I was learning French in high school, we used the language lab often. There we went through numerous spoken language exercises repeating aloud using all sorts of examples of, for example, possessive pronouns. Cues were given: for example моя книга. ты... Then we would repeat твоя книга. I found the language lab very useful for learning French. Are there any similar resources in Russian?

    hi, Daria...your lectures are not longish... 45-60 mins of learning foreign language and especially Russian is not 'long'
    please keep your way ... and you are inspiration to many for learning Russian easy (like me)
