Rick Springfield was born Richard Lewis Springthorpe on 23 August 1949 in Guildford, a western suburb of Sydney. He is the son of Eileen Louise (Evennett) and Norman James Springthorpe, an Australian Army career officer.
He's my favorite... Been a fan since late 70s & have met with him a few times over the years. Thanks for the comment and watching we really appreciate it 🎸

So good to hear that... It's music that's part of my editing software library - Vaibhavam by Satish Raghunathan! I absolutely love his mixes and use it in really special parts of my vlogs... Thank you for the comment and watching we really appreciate it ✌️ Comments like that make me feel good about my editing!!!!
Love this vlog so much! The music choice & editing is brilliant 🤩 You did an awesome job of capturing the city and really did it justice, makes us feel proud to be from Melbourne. So good to meet you guys and hopefully we cross paths again sometime soon 🥰 Safe travels!
We had the best time in Melbourne and meeting you Kristy & Steve was such a delight. ❤😊🙌 So much fun. Can't wait to do it again some day. We went to Cairnes, Airlie Beach and currently in Rainbow 🌈 Beach. All of which have been outstanding so far. Can't wait for you all to see what adventures we've had.😃 Australia is absolutely, positivity one of the most beautiful places we have been so far!! 🦘⛱️🌺🦜🍌🐠
What a great, entertaining and professional video of your time in my city of Melbourne in the state of Victoria. For unacquainted viewers, Melbourne is the Arts, Academic, Cultural, Sports and Gardens centre of Australia and is well known as the coffee cafe capital of Australia and perhaps the world. Geographically, the Yarra River (brown from the clay soils around it and the eucalyptus leaf tannins) runs through the city, to join the Maribynong River before emptying into the huge Port Phillip Bay, which Melbourne surrounds, and then into the ocean of Bass Strait. Melbourne is partly surrounded by the Great Dividing Range, The city population is the biggest and fastest growing in Oz. and will soon be at six million and there over 200 ethnicities living here. Good views of the city and bay can also be seen by travelling both ways over the Westgate Bridge. We are a laid-back, easy-going, friendly culture and most people like to engage in small talk with anyone, anywhere. Enjoy !
I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay in my home town. However I couldn't help noticing that so much of your stay involved your home country. Half the video hanging out on the set of an American sitcom, American donuts, American Hamburgers, hanging out with other Americans. Very little interaction with local people. Even the uber driver was from Sri Lanka. Which begs the question, why not just stay home?
Maybe the vlog gave you that feeling but 90% of our time was Aussie. Btw, those were Aussie burgers & traveling mates... We loved visiting our friends in Melbourne, the entire country of Australia, such an amazing country and peeps! Really appreciate you watching & subscribing 💚✌️🌏 Be back on the road in a few weeks...
@@paulineryan579 I’d like to see the criteria for that. As far as livability goes, Perth has higher wages, better infrastructure, cheaper housing, less congestion, better beaches, a better river, less graffiti, lower electricity prices…. The isolation is a bonus as well.
Melbourne rated 3rd most liveable city in the world in 2023. A few years prior rated 1st for 7 straight years. Easily confirmed. Just look it up.@@zwieseler

We had fun visiting the set of "Friends" 😁 This was not planned, unexpected find. Love when this happens during our travel. 👍
i thinlk melbourne has nicer older buildings than sydney. we pulled most of ours down . even the qvb had a fight to stay in one piece.
Really liked the architecture, landscapes.. Such a beautiful country!! Thanks for the comment and watching we really appreciate it 👍

My city. Magnificent Melbourne❤
The Indian type music during the library segment is good.
Thanks for watching & thanks for pointing it out 👍 We really appreciate it!
And picking the right music sometimes takes a lot of extra time to go thru 100s of possible options... I get so crazy deciding 🤣
Yes fully understand.

hosier lane is probably the worst place in melbourne to go to see street art lol
Definitely found better, agreed... It was still cool 🤘 thanks for the comment!

Yeh, Melbourne’s OK… but it’s not Perth 😉
We will DEFINITELY make it to Perth next year!!! Thanks for watching we really appreciate it 👍
Better than ok. The world's most livable city several years in a row. Perth is ok for being the most isolated city in the world.
@@paulineryan579 🤗 be nice ya'll! Australia is magnificent from top to bottom 🏆
