Not to discredit any other league guide tubers, but by far you are the most helpful when it comes to champion guides. I played Gragas after watching your guide, and while I've only got 6 games on him, I not only won every lane, but I've stomped every lane. These are super simple to understand and comprehensive, good work.
Playing vex without looking at any guide then finding this guide mentions tricks you discovered on your own hits different

Vex is OP however I'm just glad it isn't some overcompensating paragraph of a passive that has a hint of true damage at the end.
i think her kit is fine her numbers are just too high

Nah, she's not OP, people just don't know how to play against her yet. Try to not dash while in her passive range and outzone her in early or have the jg to camp her (if you want to play high mobility champ anyway), and she will be useless since it's easy to waste her fear, and stacking it with autos takes enough time to allow Irelia or Kassadin to burst her down.
Irelia counters her, fiddle counters her anivia counters her + any bruiser yw; just pick malphite. Shes new; no one knows how to counter her yet. Plus shes easy and similar to already existing mages.

Tip: Vex's E detonates faster but has a smaller area the nearer you cast it from vex and vice versa (the further the slower but it has the whole area of detonation)
Because in the E can see : Vex send Shadow on a area

Tip for playing against her: her e counts as a projectile, so yas oder samira can just block it
Yasuo gets absolutely f*cked by Vex cause every time he dashes, she gets the bonus from her passive.

Yeah, for some people it’s true exact opposite, they love the familiar feeling and just getting better and better at something. It’s hard to find anyone in the middle ground lol.
You're missing the competitiveness part. If you take competitive games by their face value, they will all seem repetitive

I don't play league but that is what I love about having adhd. You can't seem to focus normally but if you find something you love, then you can pretty much hyperfocus that one thing till you get really good at it without being bored.
Counters: Irelia, Kassadin, Zed
So cancer can't be beaten even with special medication...
I actually haven't found this to be the case at all, especially zed and kassadin. Zed you just take barrier and wait with W fear when he is 6. Kassadin is harder to deal with late but lane you don't really lose. I find the best counters to be champs with good waveclear and long range so Vex has to waste fear by clearing the wave a lot and have to rely on her ult which is farely easy to dodge to get kills in lane. Lux is a very good counter imo.

It's funny how people said, "akshan is op bc he can revive teammates", but akshan provides no cc or utility and he is just an adc down mid with no defensive.Vex on the other hand. Is pretty scary because she provides cc and hard burst at a medium range distance and defensive measures if getting jumped but what's worst. Is that she is very simple and anyone can play her.
Problem is tho she feels like an honest champion to fight agaisnt compared to akshan, you can never predict what akshan will do since his playstyle is too adaptable while vex is fairly predictable
Are you really comparing Akahan mobility stealth and Team Revive to Vex. After damage nerfs Vex will be less of a problem. Akshans just needs one good team fight and insta wins a game. Riot please make more over loaded champs like Akshan since these league players prefer him over Vex 🤡🤡🤡

U said akshan is just an adc down mid with no defensive ? An adc with a passive shield which can help him trade with everyone early game ( except lucian ofc) and can move faster between every attacks ( if u AA like normal ADCs ) . For an adc that played like an assasin, that is too much defense
The only thing that has to go in order to make Vex a fun and challenging lane opponent is W being able to fear without any counterplay. This champion is like lane Fiddlesticks without the hard part of getting rid of vision.
I knew she was OP from even before release because fear CC is so strong which is why nearly every champion who had it had some condition, like fiddlesticks had to be hidden, and can only fear you once with his Q. Warwick has to risk his entire body, nocturne has to keep a tether for multiple seconds.
Not just click the floor, then click a champion, of it then blink or dash, then just click near them.
Her condition is that you have to wait to use fear

Also I think Vex is pretty fine, the only thing I don't like about her is that she has a half HP unavoidable combo when she has flash (stacked passive + flash + W + rest of combo while enemy is still feared). Takes a massive chunk of counterplay against her.

What I used to think about neeko and zoe riot is soft with new champs
@@lastwhisper1425 Actually, Neeko is FAR worse. She has stun, area denial, Invisibility, cloning and enhanced basic attacks and none of them comsume a considerable ammount of mana. So she can just miss everything and still kill you with one of the above.

@@natsu7352 xdxd, heyy, do not talk like that to my Syndra. Unlike other mages, she does require skill in order to play her properly. A true abomination is something like Neeko or Malzahar, they miss everything but still oneshot you with a single ability and electrocute.
@@lastwhisper1425 release zoe was broken af but not anymore tho and neeko , as a neeko player (she fun af) imma have to say shes cancerous af since her passive hides the fact her r is channeling and her e is can go high range the longer it goes and her w is prolly the most fun part mind games and that zoe passive attack is surprisingly high :D and q is a spam. But her pick rate is kinda low tho imo, ignote the fact that shes played by almost everyone.
Also you dont need burst items like ludens to burst people which is kinda funny

Idk, I'm watching this and seeing:
- enemy standing in their minion wave when you e
- enemy standing still in the edge of your e
- 9 people dying in a 5v5
yeah, it's like "vex is OP when enemies stand still in your skill shots and your botlane/toplane/jungler didn't feed their direct match-up to doom point and they follow your all-in fear on 4 people, else good luck with a squichy champ with not enough dmg to one burst anyone and not enough range to have a neutral game".
Vex can one burst combo, once she's fed, but she have trouble if she's denied even a little bit of CS, because her farming kit makes you lose your defense to farm (the passive) leaving you with no spell, no trade pressure for 12 sec... any gold EUW midlaner know how to take advantage of this, not to mention player who actually know how to play the game.
Did I mention the mana cost of Vex' spells?
At least she's relatively easy to fix, because she doesn't have a ridiculously overloaded kit like Yone. I'll definitely keep playing her once I get to play League again. She and Taliyah are currently the only champs I constantly have fun with.
She's actually quite fun for one of the champs with non overloaded kit (well, maybe except for her long range Ult,that shit kinda OP)

Her Ult W is a massive engage fear
Ok so E-Q-aa is the standard starting combo, but if you're starting the engage with a fear W, whether Ulting or Flashing in, you would want to W-Q-E-aa because the W fear allows you to easily hit your Q and you can get more autos off after the E slow anyways? You're already Ulting or Flashing into melee/auto range, so you dont need to proc the E gloom with Q.
probably the same deal why annie players dont weave in autos during flash stun plays, your spell sequence is meant to burst them, so less time to react/heal off/zhonyas/get shielded.

In the solo kill combo 2:38 , its E-Q auto combo not Q-E as said in the video right ? because if you look at all these pro players they use E-Q because its faster to cast and easier to hit while they are feared in close range

Vex is just amazing, we'd been in terror of all the Zeds, Yasuos and high mobility champs for far too long and I'm glad Riot made a dangerous counter for them.
You'd think it counters mobility but it counters everything but mobility lmao. Irelia and Zed both shits on him but rest are easy matchups. The champ is so broken even silver players can first time him in ranked and do well.

Xerath is a good counter for her if you can dodge her skill shots which isnt too hard since you can keep a really safe distance with xerath

Vex was always strong 10 bonus dmg on her q at all ranks and 4 seconds off her shield doesnt somehow push her over the edge. I'm so tired of the community falling for placebo buffs. Vex was always good people just got bored of her and now we are reaching that I wanna play vex again phase.

So put it simple shes so good right now because of W workin well with passive. If Just they remove fear from w then vex will be normal champ who needs land skillhots and didnt have aoe fear fiddle level for every few seconds huh.
Vex Tip 101: Use E to apply gloom on an enemy before pressing R. Once Gloom is applied on them, you can R then W to deal the Gloom damage on it. This bursts much better than just R + W.
That's why you R with fear up, w, e+q while they are feared. If you e first you might miss on top of blowing your fear before your r, leading to less likely followup damage.
If you do E+Q after dashing to them, it'd have the same effect but be almost guaranteed

I was surprised that when I play irelia, it's so easy to win lane against vex. I thought it would counter irelia very hard.
I fought an Irelia, with Vex, and destroyed her. If the vex is good, she should win.

Probably because she doesn't have a choice about whether to burn the fear. If it didn't reduce off minions, every time you used an ability for waveclear it would take your fear offline for 20 seconds.

Its basically annie with bit more range and unlimited flashes on R. A little lower dmg but the passive procs can get nasty. I think ppl can learn to play against her. Hope riot wont gut her as hard as they overbuffed gwen.
