I remember my first time coming across those Mirtone pulls in the field. It was actually the first building I ever inspected, I loathe those things compared to the MS-401’s
@@Jlgarner1971 it would have to be AT LEAST 100W to set it off in a timely manner although I wonder how you can even get your hands on incandescent bulbs these days, considering they’ve been outlawed at least in the US they have
At long last an original Mirtone system with mostly original pulls. These are getting harder and harder to find; mostly I think because their easy activatibility made them less popular in their later years.
The only thing I worry about having a fire alarm system is let say am spending the night at a friends house and the alarm mafuctiins and goes off then the alarm will be going off the whole time and neighbors may get annoyed and fire dept Kay be called or police so what am thinking if I leave the house is to turn off the system

I love seeing all of your fire alarm testing videos. When is your next high school fire drill
Probably won't be another one
This video was the last of the 2022 summer testing videos
Nice
Nice Classic panel. Old but still chugging along.
Nice video! I really enjoyed it
nice video love the tests keep up the work
Thanks
Nice! Now you got me wondering if every face lift pull station can do that, probably not but its worth a try
Not all of them
Nice! How many power outage videos coming out?
3 so far could be more tonight
That system should be replaced.
I got an old and rare Firelite panel from the 70’s
That's cool. It doesn't need to be replaced it's working good still
Older systems typically outlast modern ones.
You should consider donating that rare Fire-Lite system to a fire museum.
cool inspection
Was the sign next to the panel that had "DANGER" on it warning of high voltage?
No if you read it it says that that wall contains asbestos
@@nics-systems-electric ah it was too small at that distance to read it with my vision impairment
What's the wattage of the lamp you're using to set off the heats?
@@Jlgarner1971 not sure would have to look next time I'm in the shop

This system seems to be a tank just keeps going

If it's just a demo system then that's understandable
5:30 what is that called
I think they called door controllers or closing managers I've heard a couple different things
@@nics-systems-electric found it. They're called door coordinators.
At my school. The fan rooms, electrical room, boiler room, chiller room have these.
@@VoidsDemise5443 they make different styles of them to some of them are less complicated and work way better
