I agree, Bun (noodle) thit nuong (grilled pork) cha gio (egg roll) is the non-noodle soup version, very similar and just as good depending on preferences.

My fellow British explorer! I missed the Bun Cha when I was in Hanoi (gutted) but rated the beef salad at Bun Bo Nam Bo and Pho at Thin Bo Ho towards the lake. Definitely worth checking out if you're still there... I'm in KL now before heading to Southern India. Will be sure to watch your videos for the insider knowledge!

I like the way you eat, just like me. When ever I eat vietnamese. I always mix them up and eat them together at the same time, that way you are getting the mix of tasting.
