Yeah right at the end it look like him sculpt hair is the winer its the first time that i saw the face looking like good job the clothing is excellent real leather also i noticed to much paint on hair even when you don't get that close you can see the sloppy paint. Great job.
I think for those that took the time to properly style the hair the rooted looks far superior. That being said I chose to go sculpted and think it looks great. The hair looks good from the right viewing distance but inart definitely needs to up the quality of hair sculpts becuse up close it really does look a little clunky and shiny
I agree, I think in the right hands the rooted can be very special. The sculpted hair definitely needs more work but I think for most collectors it’s the better option.
As a footnote, I actually have both versions coming. All the video and pics I have seen make me think that the sculpted hair actually makes the face look more accurate. Maybe I’m nuts. But when I get them in hand I can make that determination. As so far, I watched and viewed a ton of pics and videos. I think the sculpted looks 10% better. I told my buddy Optical20 that he can have the rooted version.
The rooted distracts me from the detail of the headsculpt. Sometimes rooted enhances the experience of the figure. IMO with Aragorn it looks better sculpted.
Rooted looks okay, doesn’t seem to picture well. It’s not as good looking as the proto. To me the sculpted hair is way too clumpy and chunky, I think it looks bad personally. I think it’s a release that won’t age well in a few years people will change their mind on it like they did with the INART joker
You know in the long you might be right. Figures nowadays get replaced so quickly. I prefer this one bc it’s sculpted and easier to maintain and the lower price doesn’t hurt either.
I bought the Inart Rooted 2-Pk Joker, Pennywise and Superman. The only one I really enjoyed was the sculpted Superman. Was it perfect? No. But my opinion is photography and how they use the photos for marketing. For example, with Superman the type of pictures that they used in their marketing did not do it justice. Then in hand you see how good it is. I think if Inart amped up their marketing pics… They would highlight the greatness of the figures. I’m kinda out on this rooted phenomenon. Just my opinion. I just got the basic Black Adam HT for Black Friday sale. It was $150 brand new. It’s an amazing headsculpt and probably one of Hot Toys all time best headsculpts. I thought it would be a nice companion piece with my Inart Supes. While I would give Inart a slight nod in likeness. I’m talking less than 5 %. However Hot Toys I would give 95% nod with regards to marketing and presentation. But I think as Inart grows they should invest in their marketing to put their product in the proper place. Thus getting the best results.
Yeah, I have to agree. The photos inart put out don’t give me a definitive idea of what I can expect in hand. As I said in the video if it wasn’t for my fandom I probably would have passed. Glad you like the Superman.
I just got the rooted hair version through Pop Collectibles, great figure
That’s awesome congratulations

I, respectfully, disagree. It's an absolute beauty of a figure.
