I was racking my brain on the name of this show. I was going to ask but it was right here. I remember this was on around dinner time for me in the early 90's. I was GLUED to the TV for this show. The Honda Cub is legendary from this show, for me at least
Today it looks like it should have been street legal. I know they were just little trail bikes for kids I wanted one as a kid and remember my dad taking me to a Honda shop in 6th grade and telling me if I got all As for a school year I’d get one. But I was an idiot and more interested in hanging out with my friends than applying myself.
Jonh sands racing had one back in the day at the dragstrip. He used it as his pit bike.. always thought they were the coolest lil thing. We used a HONDA Z50 factory chrome 50th anniversary as a pit bike / tow bike for our 1252cc honda.at the dragstrip. I HATE DAD SOLD IT.
I rode MX so always had nice MX bikes, but damn I wanted a Honda Cub! They actually raced them on a game show called "Maximum Drive" in the 90's. Pretty lame track on the show but it was beginner riders on TRX90s, XR80s and Honda Cubs. Would love to get my hands on one and mod it a bit, see what I could get it to do. But stock they were a blast.
So.. just like the big bore CR500... Lean it over, what that does is pretty much let's fuel run into the throat of the carb and down into the cylinder. Kinda flooding it.. cold starts are so lean even with choke on it needs a lil bit more fruel...lol..fruel... SO SIR YOU SAID YOU DIDNT KNO EXACTLY WHAT LEANING THE BIKE OVER DONE... WELL NOW YOU DO.
Do you mind if I ask what you do for a living? Your channel is incredible and looking at your shop brings tears to my eyes! Id love to know the trade or business that helped produce that stable of fire breathing dragons? @TheBansheeChannel
