- I can’t believe it’s almost been 4 YEARS since I last went to a furry convention! Man, rona sure did a number on us, huh?
This was my FIRST TIME going to Anthrocon, and my FIRST FURRY CONVENTION since Midwest Fur Fest (MFF) back in 2018! This was also the first time I went fruiting in my FIRST FURSUIT, ARCTICA! That’s right! If you guys didn’t know, I’ve had my fursuit commissioned for a while now, and she’s finally here! Thank you SO MUCH to Oakley’s Creations for bringing my fursona to life, and Fursuit Glasses for that final touch to complete my fursona’s signature look!
I had SO MUCH FUN at Anthrocon this year, and I can’t WAIT to go back for Anthrocon 2023! I really hope I’ll be able to go next year, cuz I wanna do all the cool stuff I missed out on like the block party, the furry cruise, meet up with friends, etc. Also shoutout to Maitrev, the first person at the convention to recognize me! :D Hopefully I’ll be able to see more of y’all there in the future, and we can all hang out together!

I really liked this vlog. Its calm, has a nice commentary and the camera is not wiggled around like in many other furry con videos.

I was at AC 2022 as well. Watching that fursuit parade was mesmerizing. It was as if the entire city of Pittsburgh came out to see us.

Been getting so many 'Furry' videos in my recommends. As soon as I saw your suit, I knew the maker instantly. Oakley's suits have such a unique, and wonderful style. It's great seeing you enjoying yourself!
XD it's always cool when you see fursuits and instantly know who the maker is. I always light up when I see oakley's fursuits around the internet, so glad I had Arctica made by her QwQ

I've been going through and watching various AC 2022 vlogs in excitement for AC 2023, went last year and it was my first furry convention! I'm glad you had a good time, the con really was a blast. but hey, i love the video! such a relaxing vibe tbh. cute suit as well :D

Thank u! I did go this year, but I just went to hang out and chill this time so I didn’t film anything. Haven’t really been feeling the passion for vlogging like I did before, so I don’t wanna push myself and potentially sour my con experience.

I've never been to a furry convention before, but there's one coming up near me in 2024. Is it considered, I dunno...gauche? To cosplay as someone from a game or anime rather than wear a fursuit? I am about to make a Taokaka from Blazblu, wondering if I'd fit in there.
Nah, you'd be totally fine! In fact, some people there might be fans of the character you wanna cosplay so I'd say go for it!
i was destroyed when i lost mine in hurricane katrina... they're so expensive and i just never had the drive to get a new one. So glad you had fun though!!!

How do you make friends at places like this. I feel like no one will wanna talk to me or be with me
I don’t usually go there in order to make friends, I usually find myself making friends online first and then meeting up later, but my fursuit maker happened to be going as well so I decided I’d spend some time with her!
