I absolutely love this mixtape and imo Steez is one of the most lyrically astute rappers I've EVER heard, certainly up there with Biggie, Tupac, Nas, MF Doom, Rakim, etc... (maybe not on their level but he was 19!!). I looked up reviews for the mixtape and the first one I saw completely shits on him because he apparently wasn't lyrically mature and was "some closet swag rapper riding the waves of underground appeal." Like what a fucking joke, and I don't blame Steez for getting so depressed, even to the point of suicide, cause he's pouring his heart and soul out into his songs and people are saying shit like that about him. Go listen to the song Chicago and tell me this guy isn't a mature rapper. Smh...
