I purchased some starting tools and accessories the other day and look forward to learning a new skill. I hope to be able to hand out some nice Christmas cookies to the neighbors next year. In the mean time I will experiment on my family and grand-kids. Thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of us.
Can anyone share how to bag them and box them without crushing the designs? Is there a trick to this? I have learned so much watching your channel! Things I never knew! Thank you and Merry Christmas!🎄

What a wonderful video! I really enjoyed the blues (my favourite colour). I'm curious why you do the squiggle of icing in certain areas before flooding 🤔
Thank you!! The blue ones are my winter wonderland take on Christmas cookies! I do the squiggles so that the icing doesn't crater or indent. Sometimes in smaller or narrow areas, after the icing dries, it collapses on itself and can leave holes (in small areas) or like divets, we call them craters, and so this helps support the icing and helps prevent this from happening! If I'm unsure if it will or won't crater, I'll do a squiggle just in case.

You videos are fabulous. I just spent three hours mixing royal icing, making the colors I wanted and baging them. Is that normal time or is it because I don’t do frequently
Mixing colours takes to much more time than people think! It always takes me a couple hours to make and colour the icing and thin it down. I haven't really found a way to speed it up unfortunately!
