I LOVE that old wagon! Lots of cool stuff in there. Ooohhhh! I want that Harvester tractor! If I knew who to contact, I'd offer to buy some of that stuff. Wow! Good video. I really enjoyed this.
Would you believe there was at least two more of those IH tractors around 🤔. I would love to just have one of them myself. Thank you so much Cindy. You are most welcome.
I grew up one road away from this place. Always wanted to check that place out. Had no idea all that stuff was there. Those vehicles have been sitting there my whole life until about a year ago. It's all gone now....everything torn down and removed.
Thank you so much i appreciate it. Seeing that tractor there was like icing on the cake. Would you believe me there was 2 more classic tractors on that property, it was like explorer overload.
Farmall 300 was from the '50s. The baler was probably from the '60s. The most valuable things in that barn were the timbers and the cut stone foundation. Back in the day, I'd have tried to buy it off that estate and recycle it...
So sad to see that beautiful barn being destroyed. For generations it was the center of that farm's economy. Raising dairy cattle, all the necessary equipment to farm crops to feed the herd, still there in the barn and mostly still in working condition! Wish that big barn was here, I sure could put it to good use. There was 2 tractors there, A 300 and an H in the back shed falling in on it. Many of those unwanted barns are being sold to contractors that take them down and rebuild them in Amish and other small farming communities. Better than having to pay a crew to demolish it and then haul it to a landfill.
Is it still standing? Haven't been back in a while. It is very sad that all this just left and not being used for the farming community. I do love me some IH Tractors as you can tell in the video. Thanks for watching and commenting that information, it means a lot thank you.
My goodness...can just imagine the history of this place and the hopes and dreams of the people who once called it home...indeed, so sad...great exploration for sure!
wow crazy how much stuff is left in some of these abandoned places. some my history that gets lost through the ages, luckly there are people like us top document them. keep up the great work crazy location you found, Just subbed, cant wait to watch more :)
Makes you wonder 🤔 about locations like this what history was made. If those walls could talk I would definitely listen. Thank you so much and welcome to my channel.
Old farms are awesome to explore..The stories they could tell.. That tractor looks like a M..Good little tractors but narrow front ends suck. Very nice explore..Stay safe brother
It was a 300. We had a 1947 M that I drove as a kid (11/12 years old) hauling hay bales. Instead of the coil seat spring, it just had a single piece of springy metal holding the seat. The coolest thing about it was the independent braking. You had pedals for the left AND right rear tires and a piece you could flip over to connect the two so they'd work together...the thing was super scary on hills! The thing would also really haul butt! But once you got to a certain speed, the front end would start to shake!
@@StantonsJourneys in our our area there is old Barns just left to waste away too.. once a hay day of Dairy but now just ghosts and once was... totally gut wrenching to see.
I work near there. The farm house was demolished this summer. The truck and the Camero are gone and the brush is cleaned up from around the brick house. The large barn was still there Friday but I couldn't tell if they were repairing it or just bracing it up to pull stuff out and salvage it as they dismantle it or what. There have been a bunch of vehicles and a backhoe over there last few days. For years we always assumed the brick house was abandoned too but a few years ago found out that someone was still living in it at that time.
We did explore the farm house I couple if years ago and sad to see it go. It had so much character. I was wondering when they were going to do something with this property. Sad to see I go really
@@StantonsJourneys The barn is gone now too, it was emptied and slowly dismantled so I think lots of it was salvaged. The red brick house has been mostly demolished now too.
It's a shame to see everything going to be destroyed when that barn finely caves in.. I will never understand why family don't sell everything or auction everything off .. I understand that family / kids don't want nothing to do with what parents had but what they can call a auctioneer to sell everything off or just put a free sign out front it's no different than just letting everything just go to waste.... That's my feeling about it
That was a nice old Allis-Chalmers pull type combine and Oliver grain drill! Hopefully the stuff got saved. I have old AC combines like that. Close to where I live in Indiana, there is an IH Farmall tractor with a New Idea corn picker mounted on it, the building has finally fell in
Hopefully it all got saved and my grandfather worked at International Harvester for 30 plus years. Thats, were I got my love For IH tractors from. Iam originally from Indiana myself. Thanks for sharing and watching. Have a good day.
That was a "ground driven" manure spreader. No PTO so when you engaged the chain moving the wheels made everything GO. First for horses and later in life for tractors. Probably room for 10-20 cows there, back the spreader in and shovel/pitch cow manure into the spreader and away you go to the field.
Someone that lives in the area, has kept me posted. The old farm house is gone and I believe they have started taking stuff out. Wish I knew what has to all the stuff behind. Hopefully most of.it was saved.
Oh wow!!! Beautiful old barn....and "The stuff" left behind..incredible.
