    Beautiful! Would you please talk a little more about when you’re stringing the beads, do you go under the warp threads before you put them in position? It looks a little confusing. Thanks.

      Hi! Yes, you always go under the warp threads and then move them into position, pushing them upwards. Then when you are ready to go back through them, you are going on top of the warp threads - this sandwiches them in place and secures them.

    I just finished this pattern. The only thing I had to adjust was I need to add a few jump rings to the lobster claw . Very hard to grip to put bracelet on

      Thanks Jamie, we just got a lot of new bugle beads in and they've been a lot of fun to design with. If you're looking to make your own bracelet check them out: beadaholique.com/collections/new-miyuki-bugle-beads

      We recommend using E6000 or GS Hypo Cement adhesive. Here is a direct link: beadaholique.com/collections/adhesives

    I thought you were supposed to remove the bar ao you threads are properly tensioned?

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  3 года назад

      We've found over our years working it that removing the bar adds too much tension to the pieces we like to make on the jewel loom, so we tend to leave it in, especially when we use a nylon thread like we're demonstrating in this video,

    Weird question … how to have your camera / phone situated to capture this so well?

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  3 года назад +4

      It takes a bit of doing. Most people will clamp a camera on a rail of some kind and point it straight down at the table, which has the advantage of being a hands off solution where nobody has to operate the camera. What we do is position our camera on a tripod next to our designer, very high up and a bit off to the side so that her head doesn't pop into frame. The trick is having a good zoom lens because the camera ends up being much too far away for a phone to work.
