Paradise was life changing for me. When I first understood what it meant, my world just STOPPED. I did not realize just how exhausted I have been until I heard this song. It's like, no one has invited me to rest after all this years but this song wrapped me into an embrace and gave me a kiss on the head.

EXACTLY! I have never heard a song before Paradise that so beautifully describes and validates how I feel. I think I was waiting for so long to hear those words, and when I read the lyrics for the first time, the first feeling was RELIEF.
Yes, for me as well!! When I was watching a guide to learn about BTS, it showed a clip of Yoongi giving a New Year’s message about how he hoped our dreams came true and if you didn’t have a dream that was okay, he just wanted us to be happy in the new year. That changed so much for me, and when I learned that there was a song inspired by that clip I had to listen to it! When I did it was like a weight had be lifted off my shoulders, to be told that just me breathing was already Paradise!! I can’t express just how comforting that was!

i fully believe their music production went up several hundreds meters up after this album! their music has always been amazing but god, this album is ZERO skips and it’s a ROLLERCOASTER! not only does it have a huge storyline in itself, but each song is differently articulated that it gives you whiplash when you listen it from start to finish. truly one of their masterpieces!

Not sure if you knew it when you said it (30:51) but Anpanman is actually a Japanese manga/anime that's one of the most popular series among children!
In the song they're basically drawing a parallel between themselves and Anpanman, but instead of pastries, BTS want to give their fans hope and energy with their music.
Also across different live performances of the song, the members are wearing outfits that resemble an astronaut's suit, firefighter's uniform, etc, recognizing them as our everyday superheroes. During the pandemic they also performed the song in blue, shouting out the world's healthcare and service workers. In the dance practice as well, there's a moment where six members pose as Avengers while the middle man poses as Anpanman from the manga/anime, illustrating that even without any supernatural powers, Anpanman (and our everyday superheroes) are just as important and powerful.

134340 is the reference number for pluto. the whole song revolves around the fact pluto was considered a planet until 2006, when scientists found a larger celestial body in space than pluto, which was a dwarf planet (eris, mentioned in the beginning verse by rm) and because of it, reconsidered the definition of a planet, deeming pluto too small to still be considered one (it lost that status). bts make a metaphor out of that for a human relationship, the feeling of being rejected, alienized and marginalized by someone, erased from their life (just how pluto was rejected and erased from the planetary system).

You finally made it to my favorite BTS song Paradise. I love everything about this song. The first time I listened to it there were no subtitles and my first reaction was one of peace and hope. Then I read the translation and burst into tears. The lyrics were exactly what I needed to hear. And Suga to Jhope rap transition is top tier💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

That 3 song run of 134340-Paradise-Love Maze is JUST SOOOO *CHEF'S KISS* it's on repeat on my car playlist every day.
yesss i’ve been waiting for yall to get to this album review specifically for Paradise. its literally my number one BTS song, still to date. i’ll never forget when i discovered this song and i had it on singular repeat for like 2 weeks straight, and still have it in almost all of my playlists. musically its the style that i tend to gravitate towards, and lyrically it spoke to me more than any song by even some of my other favorite artists that i’ve had since childhood. when i looked up the lyrics for the first time i felt like they almost wrote it specifically about my life and what i was doing at the time. especially as a millennial who, at the time of the song, was feeling rushed to reach certain “adult milestones” and forgetting how young i still am, feeling lost for not having a big dream or passion that i had enough conviction in to turn into a career, and how much comparing myself to my peers from college and in my career the way that i used to was more detrimental to me than helpful or healthy. its such a relatable song and even when you’re not paying attention to the lyrics just a feel good song, with great production, cadence and harmonies. and the ending just wraps in such a “we’re in this together, we understand you” community feeling without feeling corny.
Omg!! Love maze, one if my absolute favourite songs!! You should watch its live performance, you’re gonna love it even more. JK’s ad libs are absolutely insane live! He’s just absolutely the king 👑 of ad libs.

Anpanman is a Japanese cartoon superhero whose power is helping others by giving them a part of himself. He’s basically made of bread and he tears a part of himself to feed those who need his help.
Here, BTS is saying that they’re nothing special. They’re not superheroes. But they will be your hero like Anpanman. They will give you themselves just to help you. That’s the extent of their love for their fans and anyone who listens to their music.
Paradise by BTS is one of the most impactful songs I’ve ever listened to in my life. I think it speaks to and saves so many souls out there including mine 💜

anpanman is my favorite song it's so upbeat and so fun and you just can't help dancing and also the message. Every BTS albums tells a story and each song from the first track to the last track is purposefully and strategically place in order to convey their story or sometimes just geniusly linked in terms of musically expects. Ah the fan favourite album. I don't think i will love any other album more than LY Tear. It was my 2nd BTS comeback and i still remember the exact place, time of day and mood i was in when i first listened to the whole album. My tier list was in shambles with every new song i listened to in this lol. But paradise has stayed my no.1 since the beginning. Even though its in top 3 fave BTS song for most armys i would still say its underrated.
