The POWER of God! She was so weak from all the chemo and radiation here, yet she stood the whole time!!
We have a friend dying right now of cancer He was a Captain in the NYPD & helped with search & rescue 9-11. Our family has been thru so much, beginning with losing our nephew on 9-11. This hymn is one of my fqvs. I pray it for him, for all that went before & myself. Thank

This family has touched my life in so many ways. I love you Feek family.
Truly saddened to see so many people so full of hate that they would disrespect the soaring faith and strength of this couple. Love, like, or just accept their music, they are wonderful role models for how to live the life the Lord gives to the fullest.

The Feeks lived life to the Full. It is man's most glorious task to do good. Joey Feek was a great example of this, to live is to love.
Beautifully done Joey. No more pain now, rest easy! I have just heard this hymn sang by the Isaac’s in the Wednesday Night Pray Sessions, and although it is an old one, I had never heard it before. I lost my only daughter to suicide and although she is survived by 4 brothers, she has been my missing Angel, my Loneliness and my Heartache since she’s been gone. I cried so much listening to the Isaac’s rendition which was divinely beautiful. But thank you for both Rory and your version. I will be informing my sons to use your version at my funeral as they do the presentation of my life. This hymn whilst it made me cry in anguish has also comforted me.🌺🙏💛
She loved the Lord God so much, you can see it in her eyes and live it in her voice....
They were the example of what love for god and love between two people should be. When you saw them you could feel their love for each other emanating from them like a physical thing.
You can see the peace and joy in her eyes! No matter her lot, it is well with her soul! Praise the Lord.
We were blessed with 40 years of Joey. She's with her Lord & Saviour....totally HEALED! Oh yes....she's still singing.....FOREVER!
Joey was born in the same year as my sister..1975. However, Renata died when she was five so, among other reasons, Joey's death affected me deeply.

Such a beautiful voice. Such a beautiful soul. Joey has obtained her eternal crown! Praying for you and your family, Rory, until that day you are all reunited in His glory.
Joey + Rory were did not just sing for entertainment purposes. It turns out they were ministering to us all along. Joey's words are exactly as she says them. You can honestly believe it is well with her soul. You can almost literally feel what she is feeling, as she sings the words. Along with so many of Joey + Rory's songs, it was the message they were spreading, & doing so with such dignity and grace. Joey suffers no more, and hasn't now for 9 months and 5 days. Yet her spirit lives on, through her music in all of us. Hardly a day goes by, I don't hear at least one of her songs, as I'm listening to my playlist here on RUclips. Still in our thought Rory & Indy!!
I guess I have listed to this post about as much as anyone here, but I cannot get away from the way that Joey + Rory sings this song so beautifully. I believe that this song was written for her to sing, although its been around for generations. We do have that recording to hear her voice everytime we want to hear her. Anytime I think about Joey, I think of Indy, a carbon copy of her mom in every way. May God Bless All Of You is My Prayer.
I've never heard such beautiful sweetness as that coming from this beautiful woman and her accompanists. I thank God for her and for them.
I can picture her singing this in Heaven . She has an angel's voice. That song has such a blessed meaning . To be reminded of how Jesus died that cruel death to take punishment for our sins is so humbling. Thank you Jesus for this song and thank you for dieing such a horrible death for me . I will spend the rest of my life living for you .

What a testimony this is knowing that all people in that barn were not saved......she is now in Heaven singing with the man who wrote this song due to the loss of five four daughters and one son. Joey was faithful to our Lord during the time she was granted.......
Let me tell you a little secret. You didn't have to be saved to love this hymn of this magnificent woman! Not to mention respecting their love and their relationship. I still watch as their daughter growing ul, and it breaks my heart she is not there, but I know she is in more than capable hands! Love is love!
My mother just died a little over a week ago after her third battle with cancer. This is the song that was played at her funeral. It was played at her mother's funeral as well who also died of cancer. I'm crying like a little girl right now because I miss my mother so much and this is such a beautiful version of this song. Iam so sorry to hear about ur mother's passing I had a aunt who passed away 29 year's ago from breast cancer I pray that u feel God surround u with his love and gives u the strength and peace and know u and ur mother and grandmother will be reunited that was his promise

One can sense the loving worship she has for the Lord, what a woman.
Joey & Rory's "Hymns" album became a comfort to me when my grandmother died. The year prior before grandma's death I was blessed to being prepared for this coming eventuality. I cannot explain why but the both of us were very close and when she died, "It Is Well with My Soul", and Joey's voice were a tremendous help in getting me through this painful time . Of course, prayers and going to mass every day was also healing. However, when grandma first died this song helped me through the night and afterwards. May God bless His "Angel of Music".😀
I lost my Julie 52 days before Joey's beautiful life ended. Found their Wonderful music shortly after.

I get so moved by watching this. Don’t know Rory nor didn’t know Joey or her family but just came across their story through a Gaither song video “Sometimes it takes a mountain”. Love Joey+Rory’s songs and just listened to them singing “I need Thee every hour”. Feel so for the family and pray that Gods peace be with them through it all. Two weeks ago we had a funeral for my beloved father in law. He went to be with the Lord. 16 years ago also my father went to be with the Lord. Sometimes our beloved leave too fast and we don’t know why. But we miss them dearly. This we know, we shall meet again - in that sweet by and by. God bless you precious family from an unknown swede.
Such a beautiful song of praise to our Lord and Savior. those of us familiar with pure worship will recognize that that is what Joey was doing as she sang this song. It wasn't 'just singing.'. This was pure worship that went from her lips to God's ears. Rest easy, Joey, and thank you for sharing your beautiful self with us. We are better people because of you and Rory. 3

In 2010 when my brother was dying of pancreatic cancer, he sang this hymn often. He trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior in 1963 at age 12.
Joey's death hit me hard as she was born in the same year as my sister, Renata. 😢. The Good Lord saw fit to take her to heaven at 5. Although I was a year younger than her I still have wonderful memories. If anything positive came out of her death is my younger brother. Since mom's health wasn't good enough to bear many children, my brother for sure is a miracle.😀
