First of all, second of all and third of all Michaela is not trying too hard. Michaela is always assertive, diligent, prepared, poised, determined beyond belief and always striving to put forth her best because she knows she is the best, the smartest, the most capable, the most focused in the room on the task at hand. If anything Michaela is an over achiever which is the right amount of achieving if you want to get anywhere in life. Michaela is brilliant, stunningly gorgeous and no one tops her by beauty and brilliance. Well maybe only Annalise. They are both my absolute favorite I rank them both as equally gorgeous and brilliant . So I hope the next season of HTGAWM is filled with tons of moments with Michaela answering questions with mile long responses and her conjuring up those answers way ahead of the pack/crowds thinking capacity/pace.
I think Bonnie said "youre trying too hard" because Michaela sometimes makes good points, but as a 1L, she's bound to suggest things that one of the best defense attorneys, Annalise, clearly already thought of. So Bonnie and Annalise were sick of her trying too hard cause it wasted their time with knowledge they already knew. This was Bonnie telling Michaela to take it easy as Annalise is not stupid. Annalise usually listens to Micheala when she finds something useful, but when it comes to stratergizing, obviously Annalise is the best and not even the smartest 1L.
Rachel Kuchar did you peep the scene with Connor and Hannah K at the station? They make so many Hannah K references throughout the show. I hope there’s some clue there.
