Good morning from drizzly Scotland Steve 😊 we are in Malta for Christmas this year 👌 Been put off car hire, roadworks, extra charges at airports, parking etc etc So how else can we get about cheaply? We like historic sites and would like to see the megalithic temples, hypogeum, ggantija, mdina, marsaxlokk, mosta, mellieha etc 😅 Heard public transport is variable?🚌 We are staying in sliema, so ferries maybe? What are your thoughts on ride apps? Uber, bolt etc? 🚗 Have a great holiday 😊

Hi Steve, that brought back quite a few good memories in the 60s we used to have the family a summer house in birzebbuga we had some lovely time all them years ago that was the years when the water went up to the road edge years ago day dredged The water to make that beach that there is there now it was very much different driving to birzebbuga in them days it was a lot more easier then what it is now I left Malta in 1971. Have been back since four holidays but I do not drive when I’m in Malta. Many thanks George.
hi steve i walk from Valletta to brizebbga in the summer of 1971 age 11 as i lost the bus tickets i did not tell my mum as she would of kill me loll.well the road is better then in 1971, great video
