I have had a Samsung since I bought the S3 back in the day, and have always used my phone for more than calls, but I agree, this is a different experience. I really hope they continue to expand this platform.
I agree. I never wanted folio cases on my "candy bar" phones, but feel like I HAVE to have one for my Fold3. Most are thin, plastic frames costing WAY too much with minimal protection.
Wanted to share this case I have been using for a bit. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09V25THTR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 Nice thicker plastic case, with screen protector, spine protector, nice look and still works with wireless charging.
I agree 200%. Love the Fold3. Only real concern is the longterm effects of folding the glass. The phone is made well and is solid. It's just not knowing how the folding glass will hold up over time.
This was probably my biggest concern before I purchased. There are a bunch of reviews on Samsung's site showing the dead pixels along the fold. This is also the main reason I pay for the protection plan. So far no issues, but like you said, we will see over time. Will also be interesting to see if that type of damage gets covered by the protection plan, or is that wear and tear??
@@fatherly-advice66 I have the included insurance now. I'll start paying them in a few months. Hope there aren't any issues. Wonder if most Fold2 owners are still doing okay with their phones.
Yes that's my main concern too when I bought my fold3. I loved it but I'm really concerned how that inner display will hold after many months or so. I have seen some pictures and videos people post stuff about their folds and flips' damaged screens just by regular use. So since I can't handle that stress of constantly worrying about the durability of the screen I'd decided to sell my fold3 and go back to the s22ultra. The latter has hands-down the best cameras Samsung has for 2022.
Samsung had a last minute Christmas deal so I traded in my 21 ultra they gave me $900 for it so I only ended up paying $860 something for mines plus it came with a case a wireless charger and earbuds I love this phone
You're right, I didn't even mention DeX! Another VERY cool feature! I haven't really used it a whole lot, but the seamless integration with your laptop is awesome! Thanks for the comment
Thank you, i bought this about a month ago. Love it, except the weight. Oddly enough, i use the outer screen more. I too don't like the idea of not having expanded memory. The case i have gas a stand but places the power button on the bottom. Lastly, it says 12 gig memory but its always on about 6 - 7. The blackline would be a build up of dust/dirt. Recommended cleaning once a week if not every 2nd day.
Ha! Honestly had no idea. It always bugged me that most people only say "wireless charging". Full disclosure, I did google it to make sure you weren't messing with me. Thanks for the heads up.
Nice one! Thanks for sharing your insight!
After using ZF3
Im never going back to regular phone. Its my phone, laptop and PC.

Only gripe with this phone is there is no good cases

Is this going to be your daily driver for everyday phone?
Yes, it has been my daily use phone for a few weeks now and I love it.
