I didn’t expect to like this as much as I thought I would, but both season 1 and 2 were a blast and I’m so freaking hyped for Season 3 and the crazy feuds about to unfold

Was not expecting season 3 this soon. Love that you guys plan to customize gimmicks. I feel like the more customizable the mode is, the more fun it is.

Hey Slip, you seem confused about how fan gain works. Every week you (should) draw new eyes to your product. These are new fans. Then you have your established fanbase, which you've built up over the past two seasons. Right below that, is your fan retention rate. Right now, it's set to 0.99. That means every week, you'll be losing 1% of all your fans in the company. Doesn't sound like too bad of a problem, right? Well, when you have 5,000,000 fans, that's a drop off of 50,000 every single week. When you get 75,000 new fans, 50,000 are just covering for the people who have dropped your product, and you're only seeing a growth of 25,000.
Every season, this number gets more drastic. In previous seasons, your products were fresh. You barely noticed that .1% of your fans were dipping out on you. But now this season the problem is 10x worse, exasperated by how massively popular your show has become. Millions of people have already heard that Nikki ASH is the hero of herself, and they're changing the channel. So what are you gonna do about it, brother?
Note that this means cards like Special Promotion and Network Special are going to be even more powerful this season, Special Promotion raises your retention rate, Network Special raises your new fan gain. Both are ways of tackling the drop off.

I think the difference in Adam’s numbers is because the fans gained stat doesn’t include things like the charity promo numbers.

GM mode is all I play in 2K23 anymore. It's crazy to me how much fun it is when most everything else in the game is fine at best hehe
if you make the attire they're default on the exhibition setting 'edit superstars' it would change automatically on your mygm!

That's why we need your Gm mode you're the only one like this
The main reason your fans changed number is so low is with you high level of fans and a typical retention rate of 99%, you are losing 50,000 fans per week. So a show where you get 70,000 new fans only nets you 20,000 fans.

The way to change the pics is to set them on alternate attires then in the main game screen set those alt attires as the defaults. After that happens I think it will actually take a week in GM mode before the pics actually change

And also I see Noam dar also has mic skill 1 on your guys game like it is on mine. I wish it was at least 3 cause come on when he was with Alicia fox I enjoyed his segments. Cause every time he said “Alicia foxxxxxx!” He always got it so close to sounding like “Alicia F***s” and it also made me laugh so hard.

The biggest challenge of this season is actually trying to get nL lore accurate renders into this mode, considering some of the storyline lol

If you do a season 4, when you get to pick keepers it will let you choose ANY non-legend wrestler as long as they are not upset with you. So if you extend a free agents contract past wrestlemania you will have a choice to keep them permanently for the next season. (Again as long as you don’t piss them off)
Glad we getting a season 3 this is a hell of a series. Also it's a shame Adam Cole isn't in the game because I would have loved Johnny to draft him and make RAW all about THE CHUGS THE CHUGS
My guess is that the fans represented for Adam's shake-up didn't necessarily come as a result of the show itself, so they were just added to his previous total.
I'm fairly positive the devs leant into the meme value of Uncle Howdy by making him a giant in GM mode hehe

On my recent playthrough of GM mode, John Cena wanted two weeks of rest, but I had a show in Boston, Massachusetts on the 2nd week that I was supposed to be resting him. He wanted to make an appearance in his "home town", so I had both "rest Cena" & "book Cena" as promises for that week hehe Cena didn't get pissed at me for booking him though, so I think maybe fulfilling the hometown promise cancelled out the letting him rest promise. Either that, or the game just prioritises the more recently made promise when it has to choose between resolving more than one? I don't know

Adam suddenly channeling Kermit the Frog when Week 1 didn't pop any rivalries for him was great.
You guys may not see this, but one LA Night vs. Logan Paul ended in a DQ so the title is still vacant, two they tell you it ended in a DQ in the comments from the fans after each week.
It was great you guys wanted a change of pace in this draft and wanted to experiment.

If this mode is in next years game, i hope that ecw gets added as a show/brand to run, along with having paul heyman as a gm option
His power card should be "Stiff em Hard!" where he can get 1 week's salary back from each wrestler on his active roster with no decrease in morale. Or "My Name is Paul Heyman" and it increases the promo skills of all his workers 3 and lower by 1. Maybe even just the 2 and below.

@@robmcscotty2974 Another addition I'd love to see for the next game is a 7 match card for Mania. It is supposed to be the biggest show of the year. And then perhaps the possibility to break the rating system by the Main Event being able to get a 6 Star rating.

I mean you had the same issue season 1 with Johns Injury shakeup. The fan games never showed up on the fan changes page.
With the retention rate per show being 99% and y'all having over 5 million fans each show, that means you're gonna lose over 50k fans each week (which is why Slip only "gained" 18k even though he had 70k new fans).
Also, Adam's bonus for rivalries at the end of last season might work the same way Jawnny's hell in a cell stuff worked in season one where his fan bonus for the shakeup card was added after the fan change for the actual show was calculated
If you guys ever decided to restart and do a whole new GM mode it would be cool if you guys added CAW’s like pic your guys favorites in all promotions so your draft pool could be massive and you can have some cool new rivalries. I use all 100 slots and have top stars from all over and I play 4 player GM mode with my friends and we have some crazy and fun shows. Just a thought otherwise I enjoy the unfiltered shenanigans you guys do every week. Reminds me of how my friends and I have hilarious unfiltered fun playing GM mode in a very intense rivalry. We also chose to if you either pic a screw off power card in either your GM or show cards you can’t have two. So it stays kinda balanced and not crazy like this cause Raw with Mick foley smh you could’ve really really been a total dick if you wanted too 😂😂😂😂. I can’t wait to see how this season plays out

It will sometimes tell you if a title match ends in DQ or countout. When you get to the Show Notes part (where it shows the fans gained, star rating, etc), those 'tweets' on the right will sometimes say that so and so got DQ'ed in their match. That's about as close to being able to tell that I've seen in this game at least.
I know the boys said this in an older GM video, but it makes no sense why you can't use Custom Brands in MyGM since they try to paint you out like an Indie Fed starting out in a High School gym...yet you're Raw or Smackdown???? It makes no sense.

I want to know why last year the games created character local talent they actual had real life profile pics cause they had actual people get photos taken in character…. But in this game they scraped it and you get the generic CAW graphics for their profile pictures. SMH
Adam should do 4 ways with gimmick matches, more chances to find specialties with more wrestlers

On match specialties, can confirm they are random. Tried to cheese that my first time playing only to find they randomize every game.

I could try to explain how the fan equation but it is very confusing I have already completed the GM twice by myself against 3 cpu's on hard and currently still in my 3rd GM mode series
Pay close attention to the fan retention multiplier if you use the special promotion power card that multiplier changes so you lose less fans.
Now when you get the special card after a PLE it does not explain how they work some of the cards give you the fan bonus added to the new fans gain at the end of each show before it does the calculation of how many fans you truly gained or lost for that week. Then you have a few select cards that I have seen that you take total number of new fans add to last week's fan total do the calculation of how many fans you actually gain for the week; then the optional fan bonus is add to the total fans after it detucts what you total was after the calculation of fan retention.
I hope that helped in some way but good luck to all because it took me 4 seasons to get 10 trophies everytime so far
