I admire you for just coming on your channel as a yourself. You don’t wear excessive makeup, get overdressed or look like you just came home from your hairdresser’s shop. This way of living and showing up speaks volumes about your confidence and self-worth. Thank you for being REAL and for the video. ❤

Hi Amanda, I don't refer to something as "failure" I always say, you gave it a go and it didn't work out at this time! I just found your channel tonight and have watched about three tonight and find them very much how I think. Best wishes for your growth as a youtuber. Jo from Australia xxx

“I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept.” ― Angela Y. Davis. At 69 years old, I have embraced most of the things on your list except the bit about accepting things I can't control. I have been political since I was a teenager and still am. Nothing will change unless I work as hard on the unacceptable as I do on myself (or you with the extraneous things in your life). I consider that part of my self-care.

What I really value now is contentment. It is a real blessing to feel satisfied with what you have especially when it comes to material possessions. There are so many people in this world that are suffering and I feel so incredibly lucky for what I have. I think being older now and having lived a huge portion of my life with an autoimmune disease does make me feel more appreciative of what I have. The feeling of never having enough and always wanting more is not healthy for your emotional and mental health and can also get you into a big financial mess.😳

Some things come with age like comparing ourselves to others. I was never really too worried about comparing myself to others but now I absolutely don’t care. I’ve also learned not to care what others think of me except of course my husband and family. We waste too much time and energy worrying about what others are doing and possibly saying about us instead of just living our lives. There’s a good saying…..what others think of me is none of my business. I love it. I’m now just looking for a simple life so I can have less stress, worry and especially anxiety. Thank you for sharing.🥰

Yes! That’s one of my favourite sayings 😊 and it is true that often times not caring what others think comes with age.

I totally agree. Thanks for sharing a lot comes with age but that also a part of life. Being aware of wat je want to change and being aware of what really important. 🎉❤

So true. A lot does come with age. But yes! Just the awareness of what we want to change is so important and something so many of us just ignore. We end up on autopilot!

Hey Amanda, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
