Seriously glad i found this video. Recently acquired a juki MO-816 and after watching this i pulled the oil pan before i used it and sure enough it had broken oil lines in it. Also had a horrible mix of lint and rancid oil caked on the pickup and filter screens. Thanks for the video.

Nice job, thanks for sharing all the details. It looks like you used fuel resistant fuel line for the oil lines, I imagine the original were vinyl tubing so the new lines should last much longer
Thank you for posting this. I've purchased this same 'workhorse' used from a garment factory ten years ago and never knew a lot about it (other than the standard 'serger' instructions. I absolutely love this machine. I came looking to find a video that would show how to set the upper and lower blades on this machine. Do you have a video on how I can do that?
I have found this video. It's a different machine but it identified what I was doing wrong. I wasn't setting the spring that pushed against the lower blade. My machine works like a charm now. ruclips.net/video/RjrFzpTzGB8/видео.html
