I know it's been way too long, but here is the Fire Opal Tutorial!! This one has been highly requested, so I hope y'all enjoy 😊💖 tag me in your recreations on IG! I'd love to see them ✨

What you'll need:
- forms or tips
- clear acrylic
- soft white acrylic
- pink acrylic
- iridescent chrome flakes
- mylar flakes (optional)
- your favorite dehydrator and primer, files, e-file, etc.
What I used:
Forms--
Mia Secret Multystilo form
Acrylic--
clear - Young Nails Speed Clear
soft white - Glitterbels "Soft White"
pink - Glitterbels "Pink Martini"

I like these nails. They give me healing stone energy vibes. And on the plus side the stiletto ones double up as makeshift knives if you’re in a pinch.😃

When you added the pink did you add it while the soft white was still soft so it marbled a bit or did you wait for the white to cure before adding the pink? And with the chrome flakes do you place them all over the nail or just in a couple spots? It was hard to tell. These nails are absolutely beautiful though!!! You're an amazing artist!!! ❤

yessss so excited for this one🤩 quick question tho, how do you get your colors to kinda sheer out? I feel like no matter what I do my colors stay opaque af😫 I use valentino products if that matters
Great question! I get the colors to blend easier because I use a really small amount of color acrylic but with a pretty wet brush, the extra monomer helps me feather it out when I pat it with my brush 😊

Like everyone said, JUST BEAUTIFUL, BUT, where did you get your flakes? I'm trying to find micro thin ones so I can easily encapsulate with gel, but the ones I have always stick up somehow.
You can always cut them up more. That's what I did once. I have not tried this design yet.

When prepping, is it essential to do two coats of primer or is one enough for them to not lift? Also I love your nails, I aspire to be as amazing as you one day! 💗💗
I always recommend two coats, I think it really helps with lifting. Plus I will usually dehydrate and prime all the nails at once and then prime the second time individually right before I do each nail, that way it's fresh and ready to go for each nail. 😊💖💖

Can you make a video on your full removal process? My nails are SO damaged and i end up using a full bottle of acetone trying to soak then get irritated and just pull the rest off

Listen to me when I tell you that you are the FUCKINH BOMB!!!! I LOVE YOUR WORK AND it's crazy because the only acrylic I use is Annabel stuff I just love her acrylics and I'm glad I can try this set out .

It's definitely possible to do it with gels, but sometimes I find it just has a little less depth to it, but it's still really pretty!

What brush are you using?
I typically use the #12 kolinsky brush from Light Elegance :) I love it and it has a cap too so it stays nice and clean!

I dont get why you put so much acrylic on then you spending all ur time getting rid of the bulk with your nail drill maybe just go easy on the thickness to begin

The original set I did of this design was stiletto, but I didn't record it so I did the tutorial on a different person. 😊
