    I like how this video shows defensive plays, not just scoring.

    Coming from a Caps fan. The dude's skating and balance is simply out of this world. He should be a Norris candidate every year.

    Man Keith was and still is incredible.
    So rare you find a defencemen who can do everything at an elite level.
    -Excellent skater with a lot of speed and great edges, and that practically patented spin move of his
    -Fantastic ranged shooter with a slap shot super accurate and powerful
    -Fantastic long range passer who can find just about anyone even through traffic
    -Great offensive instincts with a good eye for scoring opportunities
    -Great defensive instincts and positioning being able to shut down almost any chance and hold possession
    -Great stick skills take the puck flawlessly without penalties
    -Strength that can lay the body
    -Great endurance that makes him such a great workhorse player
    It’s gonna be a sad day when he retires

    Keith and Lidstrom are the all time bests at keeping pucks in at the blue line. It seems so easy for them

    Back again because Duncan Keith just retired a couple of days ago. Great career and future HOF. That prime Blackhawks Keith was a beast in 2010s

      Shea Weber would like to argue

    • @PersianSelection

      +Will Riley He can argue all he wants, he is not better than Keith.

    • @willriley994

      The last couple of seasons, yes. And Keith is gay. He tried to pull down Taylor Beck's pants in the playoffs last year.

      +screwgoogleplus That's a team thing. Weber is underrated. Keith robbed of a Norris a couple of years back. Shea should have at least two by now

      I'm a blues fan and I got to say he is probably the best and most underrated defenseman in the NHL.

    • @Airay552
      @Airay552 9 лет назад

      +Matthew Treadway That's true, even though he plays in Chicago and everybody knows how valuable he is to his team, he is still very much under the radar.

    • @panteraman3353
      @panteraman3353 9 лет назад

      Yeah cause you hear Shea weber Erik karlosson p.k subban all good defenseman but he quietly is right there with them

    • @PersianSelection
      @PersianSelection 9 лет назад

      +Matthew Treadway I dont know about quietly, 2 time Norris winner.

    • @panteraman3353

      But he is never the first defenseman mentioned when talking top 10 most of the time its Erik karlsson you hear about. When its playoff time everybody recognizes him

    He's kind of a freak when it comes to physical conditioning.

    • @AlexSmith-wd3wb
      @AlexSmith-wd3wb 8 лет назад +1

      +BasePuma4007 If someone usually spends 25-30 minutes of ice time per game, they're going to need all of that physical conditioning. lol

    • @BasePuma4007
      @BasePuma4007 8 лет назад

      +Alex Smith I know, plenty of d men do that but Keith is just on another level, I've seen him play up to 45 minutes in some long overtime games while playing long shifts and he just never loses his focus and quickness, I don't even know if I've ever seen him out of breath. He's got like Lance Armstrong level cardio vascular strength.
