It's not the only "Big Boy". It's probably the longest steam engine ever made but it's not the heaviest. I saw the 4014 in Cheyenne years ago, It is very impressive up close.
The big boy is just the largest locomotive that was all around a success While some locomotives were longer or heavier or better at this one job or another, the big boy performed really well in all of the areas

But Ed Dickens and his crew really did a good job of putting Big boy 4014 back together. And putting it back on the railroad tracks 🛤 I can’t wait to see it again for this year 2022.

It's debatable as to whether or not the Allegheny is heavier than Big Boy. They weigh roughly the same, Big Boy is longer but Allegheny taller
