It's easy to persuade when you have real life external factors already creating the pressure and there's no alternative options. He's just being a middle man.
Thats great observations by the uploader. I would have advised him to make more vids like Nerdwriter , Lessons from Scrrenplay who observes and presents tv/movies like him. But i guess you are pretty slow , you have uploaded 5 vids in last seven years.
I never bought Vince as a movie star anyway. He's weak. He's an advanced doper persona really. I loved the rest of the show so much I just ignored him. He shoulda taken the Olsen Twins movie.
@@rahbeat9785 nah, the show tries to treat him as lower-than Tom Cruise but bigger than Toby McGuire(Spiderman). They cast Vince as Aquaman with super big time directors. Vince's "Scarface" ripoff movie coulda turned out alrite tho. He looks like a dooch-bag already and he has a tan. VICCCCTTTTORYYYY!!!!
Hmm I wonder if it’s a scripting error because the boss above Allen is John Ellis, and perhaps it was originally written to be him? Or is it just an error that they cut, because it doesn’t feature in the episode.
I never understood the "it ain't out there line." So Warner Bros. is willing to let him be the star of their biggest budget, and expected biggest revenue generator of the year. Yet no other studio in Hollywood or even Warner Bros. are willing to have him star in one of their movies? They only have a supporting role in what would be a mid-range budget kid's film?
It’s just the nature of the business. It’s all about who you know and connections. Ari had a good relationship with Alan the president of WB and Dana Gordon who’s high level executive there as well.
@@DrSeuss-nw3px No way would it be that polar though. You aren't going to be getting a job offer for the biggest movie in the world but if you turn it down, your next best offer is a supporting role on a mid-range budget kid's movie. He would have other offers in there for him be the star of a mid-range budget movie or a supporting role in a big-budget movie.
it's also worth noting that Doug Ellis is a hack writer and that most of the time Ari gets his way it's because he talks over everybody and characters conveniently abandon their motivations from earlier in the episode just so Vinny can "win the day". Ari is the best part of the show, but it's hard to fathom how someone so sociopathic and abusive could actually make their way in an industry that prides itself on establishing positive relationships in order to do business. Ari could say anything to E or Vinny to make them see things his way because E and Vinny have no personalities.
let me know when you write a successful sitcom, if you dont enjoy it, why are you watching clips on youtube, sounds like someone just enjoys complaining
You’re entire premise that Ari couldn’t exist because of his personality is totally negated by the success and personality of Harvey Weinstein. Outside of being a rapist, everyone knew him as being a violent, ill tempered man who would say anything and act outlandish and still found MASSIVE amounts of success.
1. Inspirational appeal, 2. Rational persuasion, 3. Pressure, 4. Coalition, 5. Apprising, 6. Exchange and finally, 7. Personal appeal
Good video; concise, realistic, and generally positive.
ARI was the best - he needs he own streaming limited series.
An Ari-focused series would not fly in today’s PC society. Most of what he says would be considered way too offensive.
@@KonohasYeIlowFlashthat’s why we need it
This is insane it’s like he knew about the aquaman movies and how it was gonna end in 2 movies
this should have way more views!!!!
Thatisboldthecatch!
I was thinking the same goddamn thing....
@@reynaldosaenz2555 hi Reynaldo
I fucking love this video. First time viewer, this is brilliant!!!
Ari Gold in 2016, "Aqua -Man! Listen.., this town is only going to be talking about two names in 2018, Vince Chase and Amber Heard. Cha Ching..."
They are still talking Amber Heard in2022, NOT Cha-Ching.
GREAT! upload.
Great lesson!
Very nice!
In a very Hollywood way, Ari does love Vince a great deal.
This got me fired up
Allen Grey scares the crap out of me.
Then he died so...
Ari talking about Jessica 3:14 🤣

Nice with the Saigon intro song
Ari Fuckin' Gold...
What A CHIEF!!!!
At 2:00, why does Vince call the studio exec “John”. Isn’t that Alan, the guy who dies later on the golf course playing against Ari?
Not short of that was continuity error or Vince trying to big dog it but definitely a glaring line

the woman in the background who got turned on when Ari broke open the sticks 3:09 XD
Great summary, the real story was bit more complicated than that though xd

Take 3, Lucas helicopter,
Wait is his name John or Allen lol or was he just mocking Allen
I caught that too, and that’s a legit question.

I wonder how Jason Momoa felt about this?
This is probably why he took the role.
wow
Jason Momoa is Vinnie

Well the guy he's bases on, Ari Emmanuel is the basically the biggest agent in hollywood so it must be at somewhat realistic.

E is the biggest, er, shortest D-Bag actor in recent history. This series is successful despite him.
