- BMW, now known for their crossover SUVS and screwing customers out of heated seats, has lost touch with its driver focused roots. Today I'm going to show you around this 2000 BMW M Roadster, and how it is so different from the cars BMW produces today.

I just picked up a 1998 M Roadster a few weeks ago, in Cosmos Black Metallic. The day I got it, it was like I re-discovered my love of driving all over again, and even more so. I can't wait for the weather to get better so I can drive it more often.
I have the same car in the same colour
You are going places, keep the the great work and stay consistent!
Great vid man. Take a bow. Best with the channel.
Great video about a great car. I agree, ditch the gimmicks and let’s have some more driver’s cars!
Fun video!
I have a imolarot red 98' M Roadster. Great mechanical condition, needs some TLC on the exterior (new paint on bumpers front and rear, new soft top canvas) new windows motors in both doors, but im single and im bringing it back to its glory days. Love driving it! Great video, keep it up!
Stay single women are vampires they will drain you
2001-02 are the desirable years with S54 engine at 315 HP
They are and it’s so strange cause the s52 is such an awesome engine. I have an S54 E46 and also an S52 M Coupe. Drive the coupe the most. Why? Because it weighs 400 lbs less and does 0-60 in 5.5.
Some people just take what they can afford, the S52 Roadster is still a great car!
Except the S54 is trash. Vanos issues, rod bearing issues, cooling issues. Stick with the S52 for reliability. (Trust me I had 2 S52 engines, and they were flawless. Then I had 2 S54 E46 m3's and both were trash and had major failures.)
@@markhenry15 thnx, what about a 2001-02 Z3 with the 3.0 liter? Better still?
Nice video! Looks like you enjoyed your time in an m roadster. They are, indeed, a lot of fun to drive. While writing for a local car magazine, I test drove, for a week, the very first Z3 that came to Western Canada back in 1996, and vowed then to have one someday. That day came six years ago when I acquired my Estoril Blue, 2000 m roadster. Here's a short clip I made of my Japanese export with the S50 Eurosport engine which turns out 321 HP, and is completely stock. Hope you like the video:. ruclips.net/video/5mEV9qzou2M/видео.html
