  • Installing new rotors and brakes on my 2016 Ford Mustang. Don’t forget to bleed brakes, pump brakes and check brake fluid levels.

    After replacing the rear hubs on my 2016 mustang. There's a small amount of play in the lug holes of the rotors that cause a popping sound when backing or going forward after stopping... What's the solution? Are there sleeves available? Or inserts that can take up the slack? They are FRPP wheel hubs so I don't understand why there's a loose fit in rotor to lug stem on hub fitment.

      I’m sorry to hear, are you sure it’s the hub? I had an issue when I reversed, took off and stopped it would pop , I have another video on my page and it turned out being a ball joint that is connect to a control arm.

      @@AutoWizard94 thanks for responding...I found the problem. The center hub nut kept coming loose after being tightened. The popping sound was the axle sliding in and out on the surface of the splines. Some light blue locktite and 150lbs-ft of torque solve the problem.
