That’s cool. I have the bigger one and it’s a great pedal. Super clean, nice sweep. And I’ve been using it almost every day at a Broadway show for about 8 years. Zero problems.
The only thing is, it’s pretty big to carry for gigs around town. Totally plan on getting the smaller one!

Did you get the smaller version? How is it?

@ I never did get the smaller one but friends of mine have and they like it very much. Same thing, smaller pedal. Be aware they it’s a 9v powered pedal tho, not passive.

I like how the higher boost modes give you a nice distortion to the sound, in a pleasing way!

does this have some kind of latency with the volume envelope? i bought a cheap volume pedal and the response time is probably in the triple digits of milliseconds which is very disturbing.

Thank you for this very informative review. Can you tell us if the S model has the same range of sweeping action as the other Lehle Volume Pedals, even though it's a smaller size?

How does this feel underfoot being smaller? I'm looking at this or the regular mono volume and can't decide if I'm going to like the smaller size underfoot. Using an EB VP Jr. currently.

      This one seems quite smaller.

Get this pedal! It feels fine under boot for me. I don’t use my entire foot though, maybe the top 75% of my foot. Can’t pass up all the options though. The Ernie Ball volume pedal is a tone killer.

Got mine today, but it quacks like an angry duck when operating it normally. This is apparently a known problem in the internal brake mechanism but no one ever mentioned it before.
Im very disappointed with it, I cant play it with that extra quack.

What do you mean? The physical sound of the pedal moving or a quack that's sent to your amp?

@@Northknives it was a mechanical issue, but we fixed it with a new part. Now its perfect

Hi, I’ve watched your several videos about comparison between two pedals.
I wander that if you can make a comparison between the original Way Huge red llama and the new mkiii red llama? I’m pretty interested in it, thanks!
