My biggest reason for the purchase of these were for traction. Please please let me know if after a week or two did the traction get better ? If not not I’m taking mine back. Thanks
If you mostly Play on synthetic courts, it should be fine judging by how firm the outsole is. But if youre hardcore athletic player and you Play on tarmac or cement courts, it wont Last that long I guess.

If you have a wide foot, then I recommend going True to size. You might also wanna go down half a size if you like snug fit. Dame 8 is kinda roomy in the forefoot, but the lockdown should be fine either way. Anyway I suggest you try them on berore you buy.

My son's feet are wide & he wears a size 11 in the mesh style Pumas & Jordan flights but he has a pair of basketball shoes that are Jordan 13's and they're size 11 but he's saying they're getting tight lengthwise & widthwise. I can't afford to buy another pair of Jordan 13's... especially since he's only 14 & still growing. He says he likes these but not sure if I should get an 11 or 11 1/2 .

We did it on our Russian channel Last year. Now that theres a New model, theres no point in putting the Dame 7 on here. But if you are choosing between the 7 and the 8, definitely go for the 8!
Even tho Dame 8 is a better performer overall, I'd recommend the 7s for the outdoor. Sturdier upper and better built for the hardcore outdoor bball. The 8s are really good for the indoors tho.
Overall stability is good on these as well as the heel lockdown. But if you want actual ankle support, you should go for a high top shoe like Nike GT jump or lebron 19. But these days, ankle support isnt something that will 100% save you from an injury. Ive been playing in low top shoes for a while and its all good. Just strenghten your ankles and choose low to the ground shoes with lateral outrigger, good lockdown and lateral containment. Peace!

Yes it did. As I mentioned in the video, there was some slippage on dusty surface at first, but After a few runs it Got much better.

Is the traction hard enough to be played on outdoor courts?
I didn't try it, but from the eye test the outsole looks durable enough to endure a season on a synthetic outdoor court.
