BJ Simmons: He is still alive. I think he was mistaken for a Colombian singer by the name of Aniceto Molina because a picture of Javier Molina shows up in the announcement of Aniceto Molina's death. Javier Molina is from my hometown of Laredo, Texas. In fact, one of my cousins is married to a brother of Javier Molina. Javier Molina had major surgery in January 2020 in San Antonio, Texas for a cervical condition. He announced it on Facebook. Then he announced that he had made great progress. You might want to follow him on Facebook. It is my understanding that he now sings gospel songs. God bless you and stay safe.
@@bjsimmons224 : Let me tell you a little story. Like I stated earlier, one of my cousins is married to one of Molina's brothers, and I definitely know my brother knew one of Molina's brothers. My brother died in 2004. I definitely didn't know Javier Molina. It must be maybe 15 years ago that I went with this friend of mine to get some hamburgers at a place called Glass Kitchen, Laredo, Texas. We ordered and went back to my car because we had decided that we were going to eat in the car. Well, along comes this huge monster diesel truck and parks next to our car. Since my friend likes country music and cowboys, she said look at that cowboy in that big truck. At first, we could only see his cowboy hat and part of his cowboy shirt. We thought we were going to see this tall cowboy getting out of the truck. Instead this very short cowboy dressed in a cowboy hat, western shirt, western pants (I think Levi's), and western boots gets out of the truck and goes to the counter to pick up his order. My friend and I were going, wow, he is short. I am only 5'2", which is considered petite, well, he is shorter. He paid for his order and left. Then our order was called. When we went to the counter to pick up our order, the lady who attended to us was all happy and asked us if we had seen the "Cowboy Cumbia" guy. We told her we didn't know what she was talking about. We knew him by name and because of his famous Cowboy Cumbia song but we didn't know what he looked like. She told us the guy who just left who was parked next to your car is Javier Molina. We couldn't believe it. We missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime of getting his autograph. God bless you too and stay safe. If you ever visit Laredo, Texas, look up the Glass Kitchen. You might want to eat there. Food is great. I always have a hard time deciding what I want because everything they serve is great. Glass Kitchen has been in business for years. Oh, if you Google Javier Molina Jimmy Swaggart, you will see Molina singing at Swaggart's church. Molina is a born again Christian, as per my understanding.
@@francescastillo8243 Thank you again Frances. I'm sorry to say I don't think I will get to taste the marvelous food you are talking about 'cause I am 80 and cannot travel anymore. Yes, Jimmy Swaggart is where I first saw Javier sing and fell in love with his voice. I listen to him everyday. I now have him on Facebook thanks to you. Thank you so very much for your little story. Next time don't be shy. Ask for that autograph. God Bless you 👵🤠🕊🙏❤
@@francescastillo8243 Nice little story sweetheart, but I'm still 5'9" in my cowboy boots lol. Can't believe everything you hear. However, I still visit the Glass Kitchen in Laredo, Texas every now and then.. ever since I was 12 years old. And that's a fact. Saludos amiga
