Visit Amalienborg Royal Palace in Copenhagen

In this video, I'm going to take you on a tour of Amalienborg Palace, the official residence of the Danish royal family in Copenhagen. Amalienborg Palace is a stunning architectural masterpiece, consisting of four identical buildings arranged around an octagonal courtyard. The palace was built in the 18th century and has been home to many kings and queens over the years. The palace is also famous for its royal guard, known as The Royal Life Guard, who perform the changing of the guard ceremony every day at noon. But that's not all. Amalienborg Palace also houses a museum that showcases the private interiors and the history of the Danish monarchy. You can see how each room reflects the personality and taste of its royal occupant, whether it's military, Victorian, or knightly style. You can also learn about the traditions and duties of the royal family in the 21st century, and admire the magnificent Gala Hall, where they host official receptions and events. The museum is part of Christian VIII's Palace, one of the four palaces that make up Amalienborg. The other three palaces are used as residences for the Queen, the Crown Prince family, and other members of the royal family.
