At first, after being away from watching preschool shows, I didn’t think they would be great. I thought they would be harmlessly average, but nothing better or worse than that. But then, I rewatch Ed these shows on PBS Kids and Disney Junior/Playhouse Disney, recommending them to far more than children (then again, they have Muppetry)!
Honestly I hope that happens because the amount of people that will sue the show will finally get it cancelled. Maybe to seal the deal they have one of them touch a Gympie gympie plant.

I think you’ve forgotten that this show is British, which is one of the safest places on earth animal wise. There is next to nothing dangerous in the UK. Maybe the occasional jellyfish (just a normal non lethal one) only 1 spider that can bite (false widow) and the most dangerous shark is like a basking shark. Nothing bad happens in rock pools in the UK except maybe anemonies

I would like to point out, Daddy Pig's concrete fixation comes partially from his occupation as an civil engineer/architect. Also in another episode he had an overdue library book called "The Wonderful World of Concrete" which somehow ended up in the bookshelf in Peppa and George's bedroom with it being discovered one night when Peppa was looking for a bedtime storybook, and she insisted he read it, which was boring and caused the children to fall fast asleep. The next day they visited the library and it turned out Daddy Pig's book was overdue by ten years, though he was still allowed to borrow another book and he found a sequel to the first book on concrete. In a more recent episode, Daddy Pig has to go to another country by train to test their concrete with him taking the family along for the ride. The train conductor actually makes a huge fuss about Daddy Pig, while comically ignoring the countries King (there is a scene in the dining car where Daddy Pig asks for both coffee and orange juice but Miss Rabbit says he must choose one or the other, but the conductor decides to make an exception for Daddy Pig, but when the King desires the same preferential treatment, the Conductor says it isn't possible). The episode seems to treat Daddy Pig's expertise in concrete as a big deal in the unnamed foreign country they travel to. Also in another episode, Daddy Pig is overseeing the reconstruction of the school's playground and Madame Gazelle convinces him to show the children some science, and near the end of the episode he shows the children how concrete starts off soft before hardening, and gets so wrapped up in his demonstration that he gets stuck when it hardens, as he ignored Mr. Bull's attempts to warn him until it was too late, leading to Mr. Bull's rather predictable solution of "Will Dig It Up!" with the end of the episode being Mr. Bull and his construction crew using jackhammers to free Daddy Pig as the episode ends on the running gag of Mr. Bull "digging up the road".

I actually can't complain about the simple feat of Super Potato grabbing a hat. I actually think we need more superheroes directed at children who focus almost entirely on that because it shows little kids you don't have to be big and powerful to be a hero, and that random acts of kindness to others is in and of itself a heroic deed
I love how the mole characters in this show wear glasses, It's supposed to be because of the real life fact that moles don't have very good eyesight, at least above ground. So I thought that was a pretty clever thing that Peppa pig did.
I live with a 2 year old who loves this show, and im glad that somebody else understands that just because a show is for kids doesn’t mean it should be lazily made.

I think you’ve forgotten that this show is British, which is one of the safest places on earth animal wise. There is next to nothing dangerous in the UK. Maybe the occasional jellyfish (just a normal non lethal one) only 1 spider that can bite (false widow) and the most dangerous shark is like a basking shark. Nothing bad happens in rock pools in the UK except maybe anemonies

I would like to point out, Daddy Pig's concrete fixation comes partially from his occupation as an civil engineer/architect. Also in another episode he had an overdue library book called "The Wonderful World of Concrete" which somehow ended up in the bookshelf in Peppa and George's bedroom with it being discovered one night when Peppa was looking for a bedtime storybook, and she insisted he read it, which was boring and caused the children to fall fast asleep. The next day they visited the library and it turned out Daddy Pig's book was overdue by ten years, though he was still allowed to borrow another book and he found a sequel to the first book on concrete. In a more recent episode, Daddy Pig has to go to another country by train to test their concrete with him taking the family along for the ride. The train conductor actually makes a huge fuss about Daddy Pig, while comically ignoring the countries King (there is a scene in the dining car where Daddy Pig asks for both coffee and orange juice but Miss Rabbit says he must choose one or the other, but the conductor decides to make an exception for Daddy Pig, but when the King desires the same preferential treatment, the Conductor says it isn't possible). The episode seems to treat Daddy Pig's expertise in concrete as a big deal in the unnamed foreign country they travel to.
Also in another episode, Daddy Pig is overseeing the reconstruction of the school's playground and Madame Gazelle convinces him to show the children some science, and near the end of the episode he shows the children how concrete starts off soft before hardening, and gets so wrapped up in his demonstration that he gets stuck when it hardens, as he ignored Mr. Bull's attempts to warn him until it was too late, leading to Mr. Bull's rather predictable solution of "Will Dig It Up!" with the end of the episode being Mr. Bull and his construction crew using jackhammers to free Daddy Pig as the episode ends on the running gag of Mr. Bull "digging up the road".
At least he doesn’t brag about concrete like Patrick(The cement mixer in Thomas) did
